A great gift and a good deal when on sale.  Assembly time seems just right.  Not too time consuming, but not too short and quick either.

Some sets are for fun and play, some are just for display, some are for gifting. This one we grabbed to build for my mom (his grandma).  Figured it would be a nice little personal thing that she can use for Christmas displays each year when she puts out her tree.

Build was easy, it's solid enough that you can store it safely without worrying about having 40 pieces fall off while it's stored before you display it again next year.

What a super-fun kit!
As a LEGO collector, I'm a huge fan of the small details and secret touches the designers throw in. This set includes a hidden gem that only the builder(s) see. (Sorry- no spoilers!  ;~)  )
Also as a LEGO collector, I was disappointed to receive a mailer bag holding a crushed box. Nothing of the kit was broken, but the box won't look good in my collection. -sigh-

Fun product; shipping method could be better

It's very cute and my older grandson loves Legos. However, the box is damaged.

Lego always makes great toys. Walmart failed this time. I really enjoyed the fast shipping. Unfortunately I will have to break my granddaughter's heart. I bought this item for her since she is a lego collector. Being a collector she really tries to keep the boxes they come in pristine. This will not be the case in this instance. I should have read the reviews,but I didn't. I knew Lego wouldn't let me down and I sure didn't expect Walmart shipping to disappoint me. Normally Walmart does a good job of sending items on a sturdy Walmart shipping box, however that wasn't the case this time. It was shipped in a flimsy poly mailer. Shame on You Walmart! This is not the standard I am accustomed to! I will now make sure to read the reviews. Sadly I cannot send of for another one because I surely will be disappointed again. Now that I have read the reviews, this has been an on-going issue that still has not been resolved! Not sure whether I will still gift It to my Little Collector. Please resolve this issue so that no one else will have to experience this. Lego has a very large COLLECTOR fan base that love to purchase through walmart.

I bought this as a Christmas gift even though it's way too early for my grandchildren. I received them today and both boxes are damaged. So now I have to go and return them to get a better box.
