Bought these for my daughter who is 2 yrs 10 months. The set says it’s for ages 3+, which seems pretty true to age. This is her first puzzle set and it’s perfect for her age/level. The 12 pieces per puzzle are attainable, yet still a challenge for her. We usually do them together and after several tries she can do parts by herself.
It is the perfect size for a toddler backpack. We take this on the go for restaurants or any occasion where she would need to be preoccupied for a little while. The box has a flat wooden top that slides in and out, which makes it easy for your toddler to open in their own (convenient). Also doubles as a hard surface to place their puzzle pieces while building the puzzle, which is so thoughtful when you’re out and about and may not necessarily have a sturdy or clean table top to work with.
I love how the set is organized. The entire thing is wooden, including the puzzle pieces. The set is nice and sturdy, clean and so much better than typical puzzles that are made from a cardboard like material. Each puzzle has its own compartment and is labeled with a symbol on the backside of each puzzle piece. Genius! If the pieces ever get mixed up with parts of the other puzzles, you can easily re-sort them by looking at the symbol in the back.
It’s the perfect toy for parents and kids alike. Clean, organized, good quality, good variety of puzzles, and convenient to use at home or on the go. Would definitely be buying more sets in the future and possibly even as gifts for other kids.
