Well packed and all that. I bought a Cuisinart TOB-260NFR. Solid toaster oven all in all. No insulation between the door and frame seems like a miss though. I got this to basically use as a mini-oven and it works well in that capacity. Sometimes the center of frozen pizzas comes out cold tough.

Good Substitute for a Traditional Oven
I bought this toaster oven as a countertop level substitute for a conventional oven. I have a bad back and as a result it is difficult and not safe to lift hot pans out of my traditional gas oven. I've been researching for a while and finally decided on this one over the Breville Smart Oven because it has a slightly larger interior capacity. I've had it a couple of weeks now and I've tried several of the many functions. First of all it does make great toast and bagels. There are various settings available to customize for darkness and humber of slices. It says that it will accommodate up to 9 slices(though I've never done more than 4.) So far I've baked potatoes and a zucchini au gratin casserole, roasted a small pork loin and chicken tenders, heated a pre made pizza using the the included ... All of these produced good results after some trial and error with time and temperature settings, maybe not the same as a traditional oven, but close enough for me. I'm anxious to try more of the functions and different recipes. The oven comes with a sheet pan, a broiler insert, and a 13" diameter pizza stone, so the only thing I need is a loaf pan and maybe a pie pan or cake pan. It is a bit more expensive than some other ovens, but the size and capacity make it ideal for anyone who lives in a small home or apartment. Would be very good for singles, newly weds or empty nest couples too. It has basically replaced my traditional oven. I look forward to using it for a long time. One word of caution is necessary. The unit does get very hot on the sides and top when in use. I have mine on a microwave cart. I would not recommend using this in a cabinet or a counter -top that is heat sensitive or where there is not good ventilation.

I bought this oven because I did not want to constantly heat my regular size oven for smaller things. I do wish it did not put out so much heat though. If they could only figure a way to fix that, I would have given it 5 stars. If they can figure out how to make toasters and stoves without burning your hands on the outside, you would think they could do the same on toaster ovens and it would hold in some of the heat. Awesome Oven
This is very accurate temperature-wise, and works beautifully on every task I put to it The controls are not terribly straight-forward, but once you figure that out it's a great oven. Plus- large interior, interior light Minus- 2 hr (or 4 hr) cook time limit. I'd love to slow cook overnight with this.
