We recieved it in a timely manner.  It was fairly easy to put together especially with my wife helping  hold things. 

We've used it 4 times.  Chicken, Beef Jerky,  Salmon,

VERY HAPPY WITH OUR PIT BOSS

Its great.  I love the coppery looking lid.  Do a burn off, season, and get cooking.  My first 5$ serloin on it was amazing using post oak.  My chicken drumbsticks with Hickory was superb.  Only issue is you can only cook a small portion over the actual flame.  So if you want to get some char, you have to slide each burger over for a turn over the flame and the rest of the time they are just baking basically with the lid open as you move things so most of the heat is lost.  But you can cook some good burgers, just slower if you want to char each side.

Love it so far, but small charable area.

This is the perfect pellet grill for a single person  are small family and all I can say is my food comes out perfect

Pit Boss is the Boss in Pellet Grills

The grill was fairly simple to put together. Soon as I got it together, I smoked a beef chuck and it turned out good. I've cooked briskets, 8 Boston butts , smoked hamburgers and more. I haven't had a complain yet.

This pellet smoker is absolutely amazing, does it all with comparable quality of the more expensive competitors products. Solid, well made, pretty reasonable to put together, and easy to start up. Don't forget your first burn before using, You Tube can explain more. I am very happy I made this purchase, it cooks better than I ever imagined! Don't hesitate, my expectations were high and this grill passed the test!

Perfect quality pellet smoker/grill for your $$$

I love cooking on my Pit Boss I recently purchased from Walmart. I cooked my first meal consisting of a bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. I preheated my smoker to the desired temperature,placed meat inside and inserted the temperature probe then kicked back and relaxed while my smoker did the rest. I watched the temperature from time to time and st the specified time according to the recipe and the temperature probe took the meat out. It was cooked to perfection with absolutely no hassle. I immediately fell in love.

Pit Boss "The Lexington" model

This is my first wood pellet grill, and I really like it. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing, and I feel I made a good choice, though Bluetooth or WiFi would be nice. I purchased separately a wireless 4-probe thermometer, so overall it was still less expensive than higher-end grills. There seems to be an issue with the temperature readout, though. The grill has an analog temp gauge on the lid, then a digital gauge on the hopper, but there is a large disparity between the analog and digital gauges. According to my wireless thermometer it appears the analog is more accurate. This might not be too bad of an issue if I were only talking a couple degrees, but it is actually off by about 50 degrees. I have reached out to Pit Boss, but they have yet to get back to me.  Lastly, it's sufficiently large to cook for a family, but it gets a little cramped. I kinda wish I'd gotten a larger model.

Great grill. Great price. Inaccurate thermometer.

The smoker doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive pellet smokers. To flame grill you must slide the burner cover over manually and there is no ash clean out so you need to vacuum out ashes, but at half the cost of most units, it's a great grill for the cost. Temperature is dead on.

Was very excited to get this for the on sale price. Put it together nicely but was disappointed to find the main plate already has some rust on it, not sure why. Please do better Walmart...

I like the grill, but it won't light with the glow rod, I have to take it apart and use a propane torch to use it. Very disappointing, I went to the Pitboss website and it said to contact your dealer for replacement parts. Not sure Walmart will be much help with that. So I might have to buy my own ignighter and install it to get it working, hopefully that fixes it. The Controller also seems to be acting up where it stops feeding pellets and wants to shut down, so one thing at a time but I am pretty disappointed that it wasn't working out of the box.

Mine was not working out of the box. Ugh!!

Surface rust on the main flame broiler which Pit Boss does not consider under warranty even when the item is brand new. Look for another brand.
