I have a large PitBoss Memphis Grill and a Yoder Offset Smoker for big groups. But sometimes, it is just my wife and I and I don't want to use a bag of lump charcoal. This is a perfect size for just 2 people. Find an old table you can mount it in to make it more stable. Holds its temp for hours with very little charcoal. Good value for $199.

Excellent Value Small Kamado

I have to start with quality, it is well built, perfect size, sturdy and durable. It also looks beautiful. What I noticed while I own a big green egg and I am comparing it to the egg that the one thing I hate about the egg is the metal ring around it, it fall off all the time and I wish they had built it like the deen brothers grill, theres a part that hugs the ring and does not let that ring move. Other than that, I love the size which I bought the 15 inch and inside is more like 12 inches. I was able to put 2 steaks and 4 hotdogs. While cooking I noticed the fire was too closed to the food so I added 3 small rocks to raise the Grilling grid. I would just suggest that addition only. 

Thank you Walmart for offering this grill at such a great price! I couldnt just buy one! I bought one for me, one for my brother and one for my mother! Xmas came early this year!

Xmas Gift came early this year!

I have ordered this grill 3 times now. the first were from amazon (3rd party) sellers,both times the grills were cracked or broken and cracked. the 3rd time is the charm thanks to walmart. the grill arrived in prestin condition.  no cracks or breaks and all the parts were there. way to go walmart for saving the day on the shopping for a ceramic grill experience.  AAA   .  oh yea the grill speaks for itself, awesome.  great value also.  Walmart hit the homerun with this one.  happy grilling

Best thing smoking

Fantastic new lower price. Cover, lighter and cooking stone included. Rings and hinge came assembled, only the handle and stand required assembly. Having the lid already attached really makes assembly easy. Cooking stone works well for indirect heating. The 15 inch measurement is the outside diameter. The cooking grate is 12 inches. The cooking grate sits on top of the firebox so only about 10 inch diameter is available for direct heat which is still big enough for one or two. Just right size for me. Appears to be well made.

Great price

Very sturdy and heavy.  Well made.  I have a friend that has the Green Egg.  This lifesmart is exactly like that except its blue and less than 1/2 the price of the Green Egg.  When you cook on it, the way the ceramic seals in the flavors is great.  I highly recommend.

Well Worth It!

Since I often grill for one two people this small grill is ideal--no wasted space or fuel. It was a cinch to install and prepare for use. The electric charcoal starter worked efficiently. So far I have grilled 1 1/2" thick ribeyes and filets at 500F. I also smoke spare ribs at 250 F. It was easier than expected to regulate the temperature by keeping an eye on it and adjusting the vents as needed. The price is the biggest plus, as the cost less than half  of the more famous GREEN competitor.

"Little Blue Egg" that could.

The grill arrived on time but did not have the correct legs for the stand. I called the number on the instructions and after a few questions, the person promised to ship the new legs quickly...and did so. The new legs arrived and I was able to assemble the grill without any further issues.

My first impression was that the grill is well-made and should perform as intended. 

I have used the grill once to this point and it worked exactly as the instructions (and videos I looked up on YouTube) stated. I am very pleased with the performance at this point and highly recommend this product to anyone. 

I deducted one star for the wrong parts on the initial shipment. I doubt this is a common issue.

After getting all the parts it's a very good grill

I did a little research before buying this Kamado grill. There is an excellent review on youtube. Under $200 for a Kamado grill is a bargain that I couldn't pass up given the excellent taste the grill provides. Two warnings: 1) Height and 2) Vent Combinations in the User Manual. 

First, the 15" size of the grill is adequate for smaller meals. However, the height of the grill is not at a level that you can comfortably stand and grill; it is more for seating and grilling. Secondly, you will need to keep the manual until you memorize your favorite settings. There are several combination of vent controls. I added a picture because LifeSmart's website does not have it. So, if you lose the book or don't memorize your favorite settings, good luck. The vent settings work perfectly to reach the temperatures described. 

Oh, this is just a precaution that you may or may not want to take. When you lift the lid, it feels like it wants to tip over. Although, the grill is very heavy, I am going to put extra weight on the front leg so that it cannot tip over. Just overly cautious on my part but when you buy it and open the lid quickly you will see the front leg raise up. All the Kamado grills may do this so it's not a deal breaker just something else to be aware of.

Overall, the grill works great. Save yourself hundreds of dollars. I would recommend buying it if and when it's in stock.

There are two cracks on the top ceramic. I want partial refund fir it.

Bad quality

We waited for 2 weeks to get this grill and the fire box was broken into 3 pieces and the heat diverter was chipped.  I have been calling and emailing the contact with no response.
