Great product - what you should know
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I saw this advertised on the Best Buy Deal of the Day and decided to give it a try. Being from the Midwest U.S. such European (particularly French) things are extravagances right? Well, actually on a trip to Asia last year there was one of these in my hotel room and it was really nice. Think of the COVID benefits of getting clean with using much less toilet paper right? So I went for it. Very glad I did. This unit seems well designed, nicely styled, and well built. Before I pulled the trigger though I read the description and specifications along with all the reviews I could find. Here’s some things I found which could be of use to your decision process… 1) Don’t get a cheap bidet from a no-brand producer. While bidets aren’t new there has been a lot of development with the designs and features. Apparently the Japanese in particular are fanatical about these and we benefit by having the electronics and features really worked out. This brand has got their design worked out, and make so many that they are able to offer a good quality product at a great value price. 2) Research and understand the features that you need. This model, for example, has lots of modes, positions, water temps. It does not have a blow dryer function, which is a feature I didn’t want. 3) Understand the dimensional specifications. I measured the current toilet and made sure the elongated model dimensions will match up. This fits most toilets but don’t assume it will fit yours. Check the bolt connections – the bidet design accommodates a wide range of placement but it has a min and max size. If your lid bolts are out of that spec, or too close to the tank then it won’t fit. The point here is that I imagine this will fit most toilets, but make sure yours isn’t one of the exceptions! 4) Understand the requirements. This needs water and power. The water connection is easy. This uses fresh water from a T that is installed where your tank gets filled – and they supply the T fitting and hose. I don’t know why some reviews found that difficult. However, this does need an AC outlet. I had an outlet on the other side of the wall so adding one was pretty easy. I used a spare GFCI outlet I had as spare – that is most likely code for your area. If you can add (or have an electrician add) an outlet then you are good to go. I received the unit and it installed very easily. It looks great and works well. I did have one issue. I would get water spray out from the gap between the bowl and the bidet seat. I thought things might be misaligned and tried different locations, but I’d still get water coming out. I called BioBidet and spoke with a super friendly customer service agent. She said that’s not normal, and suggested I watch what was happening. You do this by covering the seat with clear Saran Wrap, holding a hand on the spot where there is a proximity sensor (the unit won’t run unless is senses there is a person there) and run a cycle. Kinda fun to watch, and the nozzle seemed fine. It’s not like I had a flaw that was spraying sideways. I don’t know why I was having this problem but think it is just the geometry of the “architectural” toilet I had. I solved this issue by adding some silicone weather strip material. This is the stuff that compresses to fill the gap for doors and windows and it is white silicone that has an adhesive strip. I selected the D14 x 12 mm weatherstrip (meaning it is a D shape from an end view, and uncompressed it is 12mm high), which gives a watertight seal for gaps 8mm to 11mm which is perfect for this bidet seat. After using this awhile it has been problem free and great to operate. I didn’t want something that was an obvious add-on, and this matches the toilet so well. I think the design is such that it looks like that’s how the toilet originally came (another consideration for what you choose, you might have a more traditional looking toilet that doesn’t match this design). Not a bidet problem, but the thing looks so sleek now the existing toilet paper holder (a traditional design) looked out of place. So this caused a new mini-project to drywall and paint, then replace with a single L shaped Euro style holder to match. I include a picture to show the final layout.

Why did I wait so long?!?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took a pandemic to make me pull the trigger on this purchase. I had been toying around with the idea for a while but now it just seemed smarter to do. I had researched models from several companies but the BioBidet Slim Two had everything I wanted and nothing I didn't. Remote, child function, and warm water were desired and I did not want a dryer. The prospect of adding a fan to blow toilet air around did not appeal to me at all. One thing I'm not huge on is the night light. Why blue? A jarring color at night for sure. However since you can turn it off there is no problem for me. The other thing Is the heated seat. It seems the heated water is unnecessary as our water is never cold and I feel the same way about the seat. But if you live in a colder environment or are really trying to save money in the winter these would be super luxury. The unit is MASSIVE. It adds some height to the seat and also decreases the opening. It hasn't cause a problem but our child did have to do a double hop to get onto the seat. There is also the power issue to be considered ahead of time. Installing a GFI near the unit would be ideal but we have't had the time so ours is run by extension cord to a GFI. Not pretty but functional. I was sold before we got it. My husband not so much but after a little time with Tuvix (we are nerds and wanted to show the marriage of function/logic and entertainment/amusement with our bidet) he discovered he could tolerate it, lol. Our child on the other hand got over and doubt very quickly and will now make the special trip upstairs to use the "butt washer". I waited a while for them to come back in stock then caught a killer deal on Best Buy so it made it easy to make the purchase. While it is a luxury item I feel it has become essential for the hygiene of our households and regular toilet/toilet paper systems feel barbaric now. :)

Excellent Bidet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to replace a perfectly good Bio Bidet Aura A7. Despite a lack of a blow drier in this one, the Slim Two beats the Aura A7 in almost every way. The control panel on the side of my old bidet prevented me from being able to open a drawer on my bathroom cabinet more than an couple inches and is the primary reason I upgraded to this one. The remote is large (5"x5") and comes with a mounting plate and double backed tape to put it where you like. There are also simple buttons on the back of the seat to allow you to do a simple wash or bidet request and a stop button is there as well. As far as functionality vs the Aura A7, this model has a modes for turbo (higher pressure stream), sitz bath (gentle stream for up to 5 minutes), children's mode (extends nozzle further forward and turns off heating functions/gentler stream). The motor that drives the bidet in this model seems to be a heavier duty motor than the Aura A7, it doesn't sound like it is sloppily moving back and forth inside the housing with jerky sudden movements, it is more refined in operation and probably has better parts and programming to it and I am thinking it will last longer as a result. There is one small issue I can't figure out. I am not sure if there is a difference between the normal wash mode at full pressure and the turbo mode. Pressure also occasionally seems to be different at times even though none of the settings have changed since the last time it was used. It could be my city water pressure changing or it could be something else that I am not aware of; It's just an annoyance more than anything. I'd recommend this bidet to anybody, it's a great low cost investment and with a little bit of maintenance and care it should last many years. It has cut my toilet paper usage down to just a few squares each time to dry myself off with and the relatives love using it when they come over to visit.

Bio Bidet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to install. It requires a GFCI outlet. No drying option which is fine. Cool blue light. Nice to have a warm seat in the winter. The cover is not sturdy as for many bidets.

I am spoiled now and have a hard time using others
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Bidet makes regular toilets now a pain to use hahaha. Everything is great about it, I am giving it 4 stars only coz its short of some features: - wish the night light has a motion sensor so its not on all the time - 2 person saved pref would be nice (is in the newer models) This is an older model but I love the wireless control panel that comes with it. Also got this on sale at $200, at the original $300 pricepoint i was considering others, but at the sale price it was a no brainer

best for tankless toilets
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design of this toilet seat works best for tankless toilets. That said, it works quite well although you may have to do a little research if you want to turn off the night light. The install was easy and met all expectations.

Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my bidet. I was a little skeptical at first but once trying it out I love it. I should of bought one years ago. My teenage boys were hesitant to try it out but finally after much coaxing they too want a bidet.
