You can fit GutterStuff over the nails or gutter hangers by cutting a small slit in the foam.  Alternatively, GutterStuff will fit under the nails and gutter hangers quite easily as well.

Gutter Stuff is very easy to install, and it really is not visible from the ground. We are looking forward to never having to do the annual gutter clean out. The pieces are made out of a plastic/rubbery feeling foam, that lets the water and rain filter through to the gutter, while keeping leaves and other objects out of the gutters. The pieces are cut at an angle, so when you install them, the top goes flat across the whole gutter top, and the bottom area is at an angle, which lets a lot of water rush through and out to the downspout. The pieces are coated with a UV protect-ant, which should help them last for many years. Each box contains 8 pieces, which covers 32 linear feet. The pieces are easy to cut with a box cutter, or a good pair of scissors, making it easy to get a good fit.

Great way to keep gutters clean

The Gutter Guard System is perfect for my house. My neighbors have large trees and lots of leaves in the fall. I can now keep the leaves from landing in my gutter. I like that this comes in 8 four foot sections, makes it very easy to install. The rain gets through but not the leaves. The foam is durable and fits perfect, the width is 5". Gutter foam filter lasts for 5 years and is well worth using.

Gutter Guard System

We live in a wooded area with many nut trees and have tried multiple products to keep the nuts and leaves from our gutters. This has been the first product that stands up to the weight of all the nuts and leaves. Other products would give but GutterStuff is great because it is a foam filler with fills most of the gutter and allows the water to still travel though.

GutterStuff Great!!

I was very curious about how this works. And after seeing this gutter foam in action, I am a faithful customer! After you bring a box of gutter foam home, all you need to do is to fit it in your gutter. That's all! The foam is wide enough to close any gaps between itself and the gutter. Water gets through the foam easily. Once rain is done and everything dried off, the wind will blow away any leaves etc. I love this product and sincerely hope that you will too!

Amazing!

Every once in awhile, you'll try a new product and think to yourself, "Why didn't I think of that?" GutterStuff is one of those products - a simple and effective solution to an age old problem! The 5-Inch Gutter Guard System includes 32 linear feat of foam filter in 8 separate 4 foot sections. It was so easy to install, took just a few minutes and doesn't require any special tools or skills. GutterStuff is a 5 inch wide piece of foam that gits right into your gutter to block leaves but still allows water to flow through quickly. Expensive gutter covers and screens aren't needed! It's light weight and so easy! Lastly, the GutterStuff Gutter Guard system is incredibly affordable as well. We could not be happier with this solution.

Works Great!

Gutter Stuff - "This is a time saver" My husband installed Gutter Stuff almost immediately after receiving it. The product was kind of cheaply but the concept is good. It's a foam material that you can install in your own gutters with no special tools (that's a great thing and so far it's doing its job). It's supposed to last nearly forever, and the basic idea is that the foam fills the gutter and prevents leaves and debris from getting in. The foam is very porous and so water soaks in and travels through the gutter unobstructed. Leaves might get hung up for a while, but they are do eventually blow off. The problem is, while they ARE stuck up there, they form a kind of mat and block the water from going into the foam in a couple of areas. We live in where a lot of leaves fall but not a lot of rain. That was a bad combination for the Gutter Stuff but so far it's working pretty well. 

Hasn't happened, but I'm guessing that it is eventually going to clog the foam to the point where water won't pass through. I would recommend this product if you live on a site where you really have a need for gutter protection.

YAY, GutterStuff works

The gutter foam is great to keep our gutters clean. It is very easy to install (set aside the climbing to the roof part LOL). One box was not enough for my whole house but I wanted to try it first before I went to purchase more, it is excellent, the water doesn't accumulate up in the gutter and it comes down very easily and now we don't have to be cleaning the leaves and other stuff that gets stuck up there all the time. The gutters will be one thing less we have to worry about, we'll still clean up there once in a while but without the leaves clogging up the gutter, we don't have to do it as often as we had to keep cleaning it, when it's raining and leaves collect on top of it it doesn't stop the water from draining like it's supposed to and once dry, the leaves will fly away because they don't get stuck. It is easy to cut for the parts that needed in order to fit.

best thing for gutters

I received the GutterStuff five inch foam filter. This GutterStuff is a very interesting product that I have been wanting to try. So far there is a lot of feet in this pack and contains 32 linear feet. In other words there are 8 four foot sections of this foam. This product fits the 5 inch gutters. The 8 sections come together in a box and it is shaped like a triangle basically. The material is almost like a scratchy foam product. The foam sections basically sit in your gutter with the open spot to the bottom for water to still flow through. The product is very light weight and you can even cut it! So makes it totally customizable. It is very easy to install this product and I don't know you could get any easily on an install. Basically you push it down into your gutter for a snug fit. Simply cut it if too long. The water can still permeate through this product while not letting leaves and other debris into your gutter. What a economical solution for gutter problems! Plus it is light weight and I like that you cant even see it from the ground. I do think that you really need to make sure this is a snug fit for your gutters because otherwise debris could still get in there.

easy to install

The GutterStuff gutter system comes with 8 pieces, each piece is 4 feet long. The foam system is easy to install and you can shave or cut down each foam piece to fit your gutter. There are easy instructions listed on the box to show your how to form fit each piece for your gutter. The foam is coarse and a little spongy so you can squish it in to the gutter for a perfect fit. The gutter system does do a good job of keeping leaves and other debris from staying stuck in the gutter but smaller pieces can still get stuck on top of the foam. Once installed I poured two buckets full of water on to the gutter pieces and it did an ok job of letting the water go through the pieces and down in to the gutter. I think in a heavier rain the water would flow over the foam pieces rather than down in to the gutter. This isn't really a big problem unless you are worried about excess water going over the gutter and on to the house. Overall this system is a nice alternative to other systems and you will not need to hire anyone to install them. They can be installed within a few minutes once you cut each piece to fit your gutter. If you are sick of cleaning your gutters every year then this is a good alternative to help alleviate the excess of debris in your gutters.

Easy to install

These are made in the USA. The box contains 8 gutter guards. Each one at 4 feet long. So at only 32 feet, not enough to do the whole house. What I do like about this is that it gives you all year round gutter protection. The water passes thru the gutter guard and keeps all the leaves and other items out. It also protects to keep mosquitos from breeding in standing water in the gutters. Less mosquitos is always nice.

This has a 5 year warranty. There is a warning label on the product about the chemical exposure and possible side effects. Styrene is listed as a possible chemical. It would be for each family to decide if they feel this is an issue or not.

Before you install the gutter guard you need to clean your gutters. Make sure they have been cleaned all the way down so that you can get the maximum benefit from the guards. I think the gutter guard does a great job so far and I am looking forward to not having to clear the gutters for years to come.

good protection

I installed this foam in one gutter and Gutterguard in another gutter on my house to see which one worked best.   The foam had leaves collected on top of it after 6 months.   The Gutterguard covers were clear and gutters clean.   I threw out the foam and put Gutterguards on the rest of my gutters.
