Walmart & Kohl’s Talk Holiday Plans, but Not Much Black Friday
Both Walmart and Kohl's issued press releases this week discussing their holiday plans, however neither provided much information about their plans for Black Friday, so the wait for concrete dates and their sale strategies continues.Walmart's press release focused on their claim that they have saved their customers "more than $1 billion on seasonal baskets and Rollbacks, from Thanksgiving to Easter to the back-to-school season." Walmart says they will also fight inflation with reduced prices on Thanksgiving meal essentials.
Kohl's talked about their exclusive offerings including Sephora at Kohl's and the main exclusive toys they'll be carrying this year along with an expanded assortment of home decor. The press release does mention that the Black Friday Early Access event returns in early November and we're predicting Friday, November 3rd for this one-day sale.
