With Black Friday expanding into a much longer period of sales, very few sales actually start on Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday these days, and we want to make sure you're aware of when your favorite stores will
start their sales.
Several major sales are starting
this Friday, which means late
tonight (yes, it's that soon!)
Best Buy will start around midnight CST.
Amazon and
JCPenney both around midnight PST along with smaller retailers such as
Belk and
Newegg.
There is another big group of sales starting
this Sunday which means
Saturday night.
Ulta Beauty starts at 8pm CST.
Kohl's will launch at midnight CST,
Target and
Macy's will be around midnight PST along with several smaller stores such as
JoAnn &
Staples.

With November just days away, let's take a look at the week ahead. Tomorrow brings
Best Buy's Black Friday early access deals to everyone (they are available today to Plus and Total members only).
On Wednesday, JCPenney will release their full Black Friday ad and Sam's Club will start their
Instant Savings specials. We also expect Home Depot to start some of their Black Friday deals on Wednesday including their popular appliance deals.
On Friday, both Kohl's and JCPenney will start their Black Friday early access sales. Sam's Club will start their 3-day
November Doorbusters sale as well. We'll also get a look at next week's Target Black Friday deals.

The big news today is that
Walmart announced that their stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day this year. We expect most other retailers to follow Walmart and also announce that they will close on Thanksgiving. Walmart's announcement does lead to questions about what Black Friday will look like this year. Read our thoughts
