The capacity is perfect for two people's worth of dishes for a day, including my protein shakers from the gym. With some creative routing, you can put the output drain hose right into the sink, and the little suction cup holds it securely to the sink wall. It takes a little over two hours on a normal cycle, and with the glass front, you can watch the dishes get cleaner. Also if you're creative enough, you can set it up within reach of the faucet hose (if you have one) and fill it directly from there, if you don't want to hook it up directly to the faucet and have the sink otherwise free while a load of dishes wash. So far it's surprised me with how well it's taken off some stuck on food, too.
It's not really that noticeable when it's running from any other rooms in the house. It's no louder than any other dishwasher I've ever heard (and quieter than some of the older machines you might encounter). I know some people have said it's too loud, however I disagree. It's probably quieter than I expected, to be honest. Also it has some little rubber feet that are about 1/8 inch tall. They reduce vibration, but also make it exactly 17.25" tall.
Our only minor critiques are that the rapid cycle doesn't quite rinse as well as a normal cycle, you shouldn't use normal dishwasher detergent "pods" in it because they're too much detergent, and Air Refresh doesn't dry the dishes completely - although that might not be the intent of Air Refresh anyway.
About the detergent - you can use pods, but you might have to rinse stuff after a cycle is complete. I just bought some Cascade liquid detergent and filled up the little detergent cup for each cycle, which has worked great. No reason any other liquid detergent wouldn't also work.
Overall, 9.5/10.
Could be improved a little: The instructions say to leave it slightly open between uses to dry, but the door doesn't have a slightly open position like a bigger model. It's either closed or fully open.
REALLY needs improvement: The user manual is in serious need of updating and testing. The not-so-good part: There are two connectors on the back of the unit. One is where you connect the DRAIN hose, and it states to remove the black plug before doing so. Great. BUT, it doesn't explain what to do with the white/clear plug on the INTAKE connector on the back of the unit if you are NOT hooking it up to your tap and plan to manually add water via the opening on the top (answer: you leave the plug in place, and only remove it if you plan to connect the hoses to a tap). But the REALLY bad: the unit ships with Finish rinse aid samples, there's a sticker on the unit itself suggesting the use of Finish, but the instructions say NOT TO USE RINSE AIDS (and there's no reservoir for the rinse aid in the unit, so that makes sense). It's kind of nuts to tell you not to use a product, then recommend its use via samples and a sticker on the unit itself. I can't be sure, but this feels like a "left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing" situation.
Now, all that said, customer service was excellent and helped me sort out both issues (and no, you shouldn't use the rinse aid).

Buy a box of powdered detergent, and pour it into a small jar with some kind of seal and stick your measuring spoon in it. Trying to manoeuvre a big box of powder for such small dosage will result in a mess.
1/4 tsp for a small load, 1/2 tsp for a normal load. Yes, teaspoons, not tablespoons. Weighing it out with generic store brand detergent, that's about 1.2g per 1/4 tsp, or 4.8g per 1 tsp. While the detergent slot fill line on lid for the is useless, the actual weight indicated of 6g should be the literal absolute maximum detergent that the machine can handle in a single cycle.
What that detergent slot is useful for is adding a small amount vinegar into the dishwasher if desired to deal with hard water. Start the cycle, wait till the initial draining is complete and the water starts to fill. Open the lid, add the powder directly into the tub, and pour food grade white vinegar right up to the 6g line. Close the lid and press start to resume the cycle.
Then, once the water is finished filling and no longer turbulent, add a small drop of surfactant into the water tank though the fill port on the top of the machine.
The water inlet on this machine is a 3/4" MHT, in North America, that means you will need an adapter from 3/4" FHT x 3/8" MIP in order to use a standard 3/8" FIP x 3/8" FIP supply line.
The drain port uses a standard 5/8" ID 7/8" OD dishwasher drain line that attaches with a hose clamp.
