Ever Start Emergency Auto Kit.
This little lunch box size case is one of those things you never hope to need but would be wise to have on hand. It contains: 1 booster cable,1 emergency poncho,1 set of gloves,1 flashlight/lantern,3 AAA heavy duty batteries, 20-piece first aid kit (wipes/band-aids/small gauze/emergency card), tow strap, and an SOS banner. I loved that they thought enough to put batteries in the kit, and the idea of a poncho and gloves. When stranded a poncho and a pair of gloves are something to be truly grateful for! I took a picture to remind you that there is indeed an SOS card, but it is the flip side of the packaging and could be easily missed and torn if you don't realize and pull the packaging cardboard off the product. With one additional fold I was able to tuck it into the kit.

Handy little bag to keep on hand!

This kit comes in a handy bag for easy storage in your trunk. It has jumper cables to jump start your vehicle by another vehicle or you can help out another motorist by jumping their vehicle. It also has a tow strap which can be used to help pull a vehicle that is stuck. It has an emergency light that requires batteries (not included) and a pair of gloves. It also has a yellow poncho that helps make you more visible while out of your vehicle or to help keep you dry if it's raining. There is also a SOS sign that you can put in a window. It is part of the packaging. Very clever and useful. All I would suggest purchasing in addition to this is a tire inflator and a tire patch kit. It's in the trunk of my car.

Good to have in your trunk!

This says it's an emergency kit but imo I think the item is more limited than that. It has your basics like jumper cables and a flashlight ( batteries included. There's a few other items like gloves but honestly it's a bit basic. It contains an emergency poncho too. The poncho is thin, yellow, probably single use but it has a hood. There's also a mini first aid kit. It's a few bandaids, and cleansing wipes. The safety gloves, I'm unsure of the quality. I would probably only use them if I had to. But they're definitely something I would replace later. The flashlight is a low end flashlight. It will work. But not sure for how long. I have a rechargeable flashlight and I'll just put that into the kit instead. The heavy duty tow strap on the other hand actually looks like it's good quality. This is really useful. The wrapping on the kit is dual-purpose; it's the SOS sign on the back. It almost feels like an afterthought but it could come in handy. Lastly the jumper cables seem safe. I wouldn't be the one using them. The nicest part about the kit is the case. It's durable, the seams are sewn well and it's spacey. I think it will fit a few of my own emergency kit items to make it a more complete kit.

Just okay.

I was very impressed with this kit. They managed to put a lot of items in a small space. By far the most impressive item is the lantern/flashlight combo. This flashlight has two settings, a directional flashlight and a wide angle lantern. 3 AAA batteries are included. My least favorite item was the pair of gloves. They seem to be made of cotton and I wish they were made of cow hide leather. The kit also includes a bright yellow poncho, a tow strap, booster cables, and some bandages. Included is a sign that reads "S.O.S." but I don't plan on using it. This kit also includes a "Complimentary 1-year membership" for 24-hour roadside assistance. I filled out the card to get this free service. They do not ask for any payment information, and you will not be billed anything once the free one year membership ends. This is fantastic. I was worried that there would be a catch. I included two pictures mainly to show the flashlight. Overall, I am SUPER SUPER SUPER happy with this product and I recommend it 100%.

Great. Comes with FREE 1-year Roadside Assistance!

This is a good kit to have in a car as a basic starter kit. You may want to add some more tools to this just in case because you never know when breakdowns can occur. I haven't had the need to put it to use yet but feel good knowing I have something in the back. The jumper cables are just okay. They may work for smaller cars but doubt they are heavy duty enough for trucks.

Convenient little kit for cars

This is a nice basic kit for small cars. I say for small cars because the tow strap is only rated at 1500lbs safe working load (per the tag the breaking strength is 4500lbs, safe working load is 1500lbs). Also the jumper cables could be a little longer and bigger gauge but they will also work fine for a small car. Finally, the “first aid kit” is pretty much just bandaids. So as long as you know what you're getting and it's all you need, than this is a fine kit. The bag it comes in is handy with a pocket on the side and Velcro on the bottom to keep it in place in the trunk.

Nice basic kit for small cars.

The items in this kit are the basics that should be in every vehicle. For example, jumper cables, bandages, flashlight, etc. The jumpers are only 8 feet long and everything is of low quality. However, in an emergency, it's way better than nothing at all. Hopefully, this kit will sit in my trunk and collect dust. But just in case, it's good to have. Adding a couple of blankets and some drinking water before going on a trip would be a good idea.

Good to have in an emergency

I chose this safety kit to add to my everyday vehicle to help with possible break downs or dead battery. I have to say it comes with everything I need, jumper cables, flashlight with batteries it even comes with a poncho in case of rain. I will be getting another one for my work vehicle also and recommend this to anyone that needs a safety kit in their vehicle.

Great safety kit

All of the listed items are there, but be warned: some of them are a little on the skimpy side. This kit does contain the bare minimum needed in case of trouble...but I would not want this to be my ONLY safety and emergency gear! Examples of this: the case contains work gloves, but not very good ones. Ditto for the "first aid kit", which is basically a baggie with a couple of bandaids and cleansing wipes in it- NOT gonna cut it, if you have any cuts larger than 1/2". That being said, this is a well-made case, and it does contain jumper cables, a basic tow strap, and a small flashlight. Amusingly, the "SOS Banner" that is supposed to be inside...isn't. It's actually printed on the back of the OUTSIDE LABEL, so be careful not to tear it, LOL! 

In closing, yeah, it's got a couple of tools you need for your car. It is not a terribly good kit overall, though, and really, you'd be better off collecting better-quality items on discount. The case is well-made, though, and as a "starter kit", it's not terrible.

Everything is there

Everything in this kit is of the cheapest quality. The tow strap has no hooks, the flashlight is probably not as good as the one on your phone, the poncho is ultra thin and will probably rip before you get it on, as are the cloth gloves. Probably the best part of this kit are the jumper cables and they are very light gauge wire, but might work in an emergency.

I'd say if you have a brand new car that will probably never break down and you just want a little insurance, this kit is better than nothing. I'd spend my money on a better quality set though.
