This clock has a lot of features and everything works great. I like the sleek roundness of the clock. It's digital which is a 
plus. It has two alarms on it. One you can 
use for weekdays, another for weekends.
You can adjust the display brightness from low, high, or off. You can set the light on the clock to a very bright sunlight to a low glow. This alarm clock have 7 different light. The colors are yellow, red, hot pink, green, light blue, and a darker blue. When you set the alarm clock, you can wake up to the radio, ocean, stream, beep, birds, chimes, or piano. It has a snooze function. It has FM radio that I can listen to all my favorite songs. The speaker is very nice for the size of the clock. You can fall to sleep to nature sounds, radio, or no sound. This clock can 
even charge your phone or other device 
with the usb output in the back. This clock is 
the best alarm clock that I have ever had.

The light that this machine puts out is impressive. The feature that allows you to adjust the brightness of the sunrise simulation comes in really handy. The alarm clock looks nice on a dresser or end table. Overall a really nice upgrade to your standard basic alarm clock.

I have a dark bedroom and have very early work shifts on occasion so this is a nice way to wake up gently. I know a blaring alarm will do the trick too but the Sunrise Lamp is much preferred to warmly get me going. Lots of features that take a bit of learning but well worth it for all the different Options. Recommended for all who like to wake-up smartly!

Really cool!

Love it! The numbers are easy to read, but not too bright.  It says it takes 15 min. for the "alarm" to reach its full brightness, but I'm awake after 5 mins. (I'm in my 50's and don't sleep very deeply.) I love being woken up so quietly.  And I don't have to worry about it waking up my husband. Lots of brightness options. It is a little bigger than I anticipated, but I love it anyway! They must have changed the instruction manual. It's now extremely easy to read and understand - really the nicest I've ever seen.  The print is large with pictures, and very well organized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Renew™ Sunrise Simulation Wake-Up Lamp and Clock for myself.  I have been reading about how the clocks help you fall asleep and wake more easily.  
It has a nice round shape and several brightness modes.  There are so many options.  
I chose to go to sleep listening to the river.  There is also a radio, forest and rain option it was very soothing.  
I woke to birds chirping.  I liked it.  My son tried it and totally slept through the birds and the lights. So maybe he needs to use different options. 
My only suggestion is to make the buttons a little bigger for some of us who need glasses to see that sort of thing.

Nice alarm clock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I understand the concept but It doesn't really work for me so I can only rate the product itself. It seems small, not very bright, and inexpensively made. While I do like that they thought to add a USB port to the back of the lamp, the lamp is so lightweight (my phone weighs more) it's easily accidentally moved around... or pulled off of your nightstand by your phone. It could be bigger, heavier, and brighter. One thing I found really frustrating is the tiny print of the directions. There are a lot of buttons on this and they aren't very well labeled so you will need to read the directions to set it up... if you can read them that is. I wear glasses and I can see perfectly with them on and I felt like I needed a magnifying glass to read the print. Overall the lamp could really use some improvements

Its ok

I bought this on clearance so it was only $20 but wouldn't work. I was bummed!  I was excited to see what it was all about!  Disappointed!

Didn't work

I wanted to like this. But I never got to fully experience it. Positives: I enjoyed the sounds of the ocean and stream as well as the lights. Negatives: I was disappointed that this alarm clock requires the download of an app just to set the time and your alarms. At the time of writing this, the nature sounds and lights are the only thing you can change via the alarm clock device itself.  To set your clock and alarm you must download the Magical Home app. I downloaded the app, but as I read more, I wasn't comfortable with the data it was was asking for permission to access and the company doesn't offer a way to request data deletion. So I deleted the app and haven't been able to finish set up. Because this product can't function as an alarm clock, independent of the app, I would not recommend this product.
