The app is great. This model has LIDAR and you can see what it sees as it maps your house. It shows in real time where the robot is and what it cleaned. I love this vac. I’ve tried other brands in the price range and this is way better than what I’ve tried. I’m super impressed! The only drawback I’ve seen is that the base uses a bag. A recurring cost to use this vac. For me, the app, mapping and control are way better than similar brand units. I highly recommend!

Awesome robot vac!

We have had it for a week. It has done a good job finding it’s way around and picking up dog hair and dirt. The lidar guided mapping system did a good job mapping out the floor plan. It’s gotten stuck a few times but that was in tight areas such as under the table and chairs and once under the couch. There was a speaker wire that caused this. Wherever you want it to clean make sure you define areas where it won’t get stuck or go over wires.

For the money it’s well worth it.

Easy setup. The technology is amazing. Highly recommend this product. Great on all surfaces. The big bulky vacuum stays buried in the closet. What a relief. If you have a cat or dog this is a must.

Park the old vacuum.

Great robot vacuum. Easy to setup. Most difficult thing is getting it out of shipping box. You need to be able to connect to a less than 5G network to fully use app. It works great.

Simplify  your life

Does a great job on the carpet and hardwood floor in my house.
You can map in the app "no go" areas for vacuum, mop, or both.
You can map areas and send the robot to only work on them. 
Choose the amount of water you want to be used in mopping mode.
Easy to remove the brush in case you need to untangle stuck hair. 

Cons
The app doesn't have a way to separate first floor from second floor.
On Android as other users reviewed, sometimes when you open the app it doesn't have connectivity, so you need to close/clean cache or logout/login again.


I think t's a great bang for the buck, and hope they can improve it even more with updates of software and firmware.

Has the features that only $800 Romba models do

Listen y'all, I got this thing when it was on sale and lemme tell you, should have bought one sooner. I have a cat - and you know what that means, fur everywhere, including under my bed where it's hard for me to clean. I set this puppy in autoclean mode and it sucks up all that fur, including under my bed and couch. The mopping function is great too. Ain't never gotta break my back mopping my floors no more. I took off one star since the Nova gets stuck in some places where I'm just like...how is you stuck here? You can see if it's stuck in the app and use the "find my nova" function so you can go rescue it.

God-send

Well i receive mine today via FedEx, it was absolutely beautiful. my carpet was pretty clean after all , it did its job well done.  BUT after i starter putting the mop in , its having a hard time mopping. its like its way to heavy itself to mop. and it keeps saying its stuck!, its stuck and even thought its not.. so i wanted a replacement for this. and I'm hoping for the better service.  and i included the map on how its mopping. its going crazy

The iHome Nova I ordered and paid full price for was USED. The pad was filthy, the bag inside had dirt in it, and the tower was covered in dust. I’m going to return it. I paid for a brand new vacuum.
