3000 sq/ft 2 story home. The Model/router that came with my service wasn't cutting it. Installed the nighthawk, and my wifi is officially bangin'. 5 bars everywhere around the house. Documentation for setup is a little vague, but once you get it figured out, it's worth the effort

Very strong signal, excellent coverage

This router is amazing i was currently using the Internet companies router that you pay $5 extra a month for it was lagging and always losing connection.  switching to this router and satellites changed all that. really good sognal always and lightning fast speeds and no more paying them an extra $5 a month. definitely recommend.

faster than fast router and satellites

Connecting to relatives Internet about 150' away, connect the router/modem on that end and then place one extender on wall closest to router placed second extender in center of our house and now we have Internet without issue.  Installing took about 15-20 minutes going through all the steps, the additional app is a plus.  No problems would recommend and purchase again should the need arise.

Smooth upgrade for my home wifi. My internet connection and speeds has increased significantly over my entire home. I would Recommend anyone looking to replace or upgrade their homes wifi with a single access point to this to have multiple access points mashed into one that covers the hole home with coverage.

Great system, does what it says and handels multiple devices at once with no problem. Only issue is it will either drop your WiFi from your device or when switching from the other mesh device your WiFi will not come back. Only fix seen so far is to turn your WiFi off and then back on.

First Impression Review

Could not get to connect to satellites; updating frimware to connect them was not easy for me. Sometimes the would connect and then drop. I struggled for hours to get them to connect unsuccessfully. I decided to take a break and stream a movie using the just main router and after a few minutes the movie would lag and freeze and buffer constantly. Reconnected the one given by my service provider and it worked flawlessly. I do not recommend this headache to anyone.

Headache - would give 0 stars

Worked perfectly the first month, since then has been of no use. Internet service with Verizon was going out on a regular basis and I had to call customer service to see why and they couldn't tell me just we would reset and start back up to get back working and I would leave the netgear device disconnected. So I would connect back and a few days later I would have same issue. So we repeat and same thing happens, so I had decided last time to leave it disconnected and for the last two weeks no issue, then today I connected back up and internet has gone down again.  So as of today I will keep my original router connected and permanently remove this, don't know why it's giving this problem but it's too consistent and and a headache not worth it and will be trying to get rid of it

Not as expected wish I could return to store

Quite possibly the worst router I have ever come across. Set up was easy but then nothing worked right. I had to factory reset 2 times for the satellites to work properly. Anytime I lose power at the house, the system would quit working. I would have to factory reset. Now Its blocking all devices from using it. Its I when its working but the amount of time I've spent fixing it isn't worth the $150 I saved from buying the better model. Take my advice and don't buy this router.

Don't do it!! The money you save isn't worth it.

The range of these are great.  The speed was pretty remarkable too.  They were just what I was looking for..........for about 6 months.  The main router then quit working.  It would power on but wouldn't let you connect a device to even set it up.  I found a replacement on eBay.  It worked with the rest of the satellites for less than a month and did the same thing the previous router did.  Like many others I was able to reset it several times before it finally gave out.  Be warned, any power fluctuation or little ISP hiccup, you'll be resetting this router.  I never had any issues with the satellites.  My system had a total of three satellites (MS60) and the main router (MR60).  I thought I got a good deal on this system for only $99 when walmart.com was running an after thanksgiving sale.  Anyone looking for an option for reliability should probably look elsewhere.
