I used this backpack at Disney world.  It kept our drinks and snacks cool all day.  In fact I froze some water bottles thinking they would melt throughout the day and be drinkable by the afternoon and they never fully thawed.  I recommend using frozen water bottles or ice packs and not ice.  I don't think it is leak proof.

Great Cooler for the money

Bought this for a trip to Disneyland. Used it for two days filled it with frozen waters and slices of apples and cucumbers for the day and everything was kept cool all day long.

Great backpack, put two frozen bottles of water in it with another 12 cold bottles of water to Disneyland with diet coke also. It kept them cold all day. It was.perfect. I did not want to spend 6.00 for a drink at Disneyland.

Cooler backpack

Comfortable insulated backpack. This is good for putting re-freezable ice packs, don't try it with actual ice or it will melt and trickle down on you. It's not super big, but works well for me to carry around the FL theme parks so my kids can munch on sandwiches and snacks throughout the day. There's also a water bottle pocket on each side. It's decently sized and not overly bulky.

Good for bringing lunch to theme parks

I bought this backpack to hold frozen waters in while my family and I were at Disneyland since I refuse to pay $4 for a bottle of anything so this whole thing was filled with water. It's really great but I'm just worried that over time the weight will pull on the zipper where it's closed and tear or start to pull apart. You still can't beat the price even if it does rip and you need to buy a new one but that is my only complaint. Other than that great item and great price

Good but worried

I've been using the Ozark Trail 24-Can Cooler Backpack for a couple weeks daily for work lunches. For the price you cant go wrong. Very light weight and has plenty of room for tupper-wear lunch items, etc.  I've been using another backpack similar to this but it was bulkier and heavier. It was starting to show wear and tear after many years. I think that this new Ozark Trail 24-Can Cooler Backpack holds more than the old backpack and is much lighter and easier on the back. One of my concerns was finding extra outside pockets for keys, wallet, cell phone, and extra everyday items I like to carry with me. The pockets do not look large but they can hold a lot of items. I was prepared to spend much more for a cooler backpack but for $15.00 its a super deal!

Ozark Trail 24-Can Cooler Backpack

It is a little smaller than I though, so therefore it does not hold everything I needed to take with me.  It did fit under the stroller nicely and the contents inside stayed colder than my other backpack.  So it is great for taking on our hike the 10 miles we do along the Savannah River on Fridays but not good to carry on our trips to the Zoo, where we have to carry lunch and drinks plus snacks and swim wear and a towel, plus Water.

I would not recommend this item because once the ice begins to melt the bottom and back of the bag begin to leak. I am returning it. I also have the smaller bag which does not leak.

Not good

This would work well as a padded backpack and would probably be within dimensions to take into some events but it is so lightweight that I don't feel it would keep your drinks or food cold for very long. 

I did like that it looks pretty much just like a backpack though and it folds very flat for storage.
