Love this cooler. Was a a three day trip and had made ice ahead of time in one gallon water bottles and food was still frozen when I got home and other bottles/jars were still cold. I’m very impressed with this cooler. The size was perfect. I highly recommend this 100 gallon cooler for long trips or just a party where you need lots of room for water, soda, beer, wine or whatever you need to stay cold.

I used this cooler on a camping trip in middle of the hottest part of summer. It was in the shade 100% of the trip since I was pretty deep in the forest. It lasted over the weekend no problem but I kept ice in it when I got home and left it outside to test the "5 day" claim. Surprisingly, there was still a tiny bit of ice in there on day 3 but, by day four, all of the ice was completely gone. So, maybe the 5 day claim is assuming you don't ever open the cooler? I don't know, but it sure didn't last 5 days, nor even 4. Either way, I can't really complain and it worked well for our two day camping trip. The handles and wheels held up really well, even when lugging this thing (fully loaded) down a steep trail path to get to the campsite deep in the forest. I think the smaller handles would probably break after a couple more trips like this, since I did notice some heavy bending at the mounting points. I was actually surprised that the large handle didn't break on the first use going down this rugged trail but, it came close. When fully loaded, the cooler is HEAVY and the tension hits right where the handle mounts. I kept an eye on those points while lugging it up and down the hill that the path lay on and it came really close to popping out, or breaking, but didn't! Hopefully the cooler lasts a few more trips like this but, I got my money's worth I think. Thanks Coleman!

We LOVE our Coleman cooler. It has been our best camping investment. We went camping for 10 days… we froze 3 apple juice bottles (the family size with water) placed them in our cooler, got our original ice and kept only our food in this cooler. Can I give a shout out to Coleman we only had to get ice Once in 10 days we were camping. Now we did have a separate cooler for drinks. We had little ones and it just didn’t make since to take a chance on them no closing it and losing all our food and having to call our trip short. It was an igloo which never really in my opinion held up for what we paid…so I came home an bought another Coleman as soon as possible.
