I bought this TV and I have to say that I am very pleased with it. After I ordered it I read the reviews and I was a little worried but the sound is good , picture is crystal clear and it gets great reception. I couldn't be happier !

Great TV

The screen has lines all through it and the bottom of it has a thin blue or green line thats getting bigger

The tv was fine for about 4 months then it developed lines and fading .

I bought two of this model in April of 2021 to use as computer displays. They seemed to be just fine for a while, then some lines developed running across the screen of one of them. That one currently fails if left on for several minutes. The other TV is now showing the lines and I expect it to began failing in the same way soon. As you may be able to tell the one that is already failing is oriented in the portrait alignment to facilitate writing and other office work. The TV that is only starting to fail at this time is used in landscape arrangement and used as a normal computer display.

The first photo is when TV is in full failure, the second is the TV that seems about to fail, the third is the TV that has failed at a time when it has just been turned on after being off for hours. I believe that the problem is a thermal issue that is a problem across the whole of the model and might be something that might be needing a recall.

Do not buy this brand of TV

Purchased this tv for my handicap dad on 3/21, the tv now has horizontal lines all through the viewing screen.  It is just a few months over 1 year. Didn't know they were selling disposable tv's. Now we will have to spend additional money, on a already tight budget for a new tv, to help keep my bed ridden dad entertained

Disposable Tav

I thought JVC was a good brand since I had experience with their car stereos. BUT the TV I got didn't last at all. It began getting small lines within a few months but it seemed like it was only on the Roku menu screen. Well as time went on I noticed the lines getting worse but not so that I couldn't watch TV, which I work long hours and dont watch TV that often and my TV was installed on the wall so it never took any hits or abuse whatsoever. Well today,I turned out on to watch YouTube and this is what I saw. It really sucks because I don't have the money for a new one so I guess I won't be watching ANY TV unless it's my computer screen. This TV was delivered to home 4/2021 and it was a few weeks before I even turned it on because I had to get it installed on the wall. It has been 14 months since it was delivered, and I watch TV or movies maybe 3 nights a week. So, it was very gently used. Very disappointed with the quality. I plan to contact JVC and see if they will honor a warranty and I will post again l to report the results.

Buyer Beware of JVC TV BRAND

What I liked? Price. Features for the price. 
What I DIDN'T LIKE? The fact that it lasted only about 4.5 months before it died on me.  All of a sudden the display just pixelated and that was it. I unplugged it. Waited several minutes. Plugged back in. No Go. Unplugged for a couple of weeks. Same result. No Go. Still completely pixelated. And that is on any/no input.

Good during its VERY SHORT lifespan - 4.5 months

I'm beyond upset when I got off work I plugged my tv in and it looks shattered on the inside. I'm going to my local walmart tomorrow to take it back. Someone needs to contact me!

The bottom of tv where the screws go into were already stripped when I got them so I had a TV with no stand!!!! I had to buy a new stand for $54 from Walmart! Pic is of new stand i had to buy!

This tv only worked for a year and a half. Walmart wouldn't let me buy insurance on their site for the tv. They didn't give insurance for it. They knew this tv didn't work long.
