    Sleep Buds....Meh

    Sleep Buds....Meh
I opted for the Amazefit sleep buds OVER the BOSE for a couple of reasons. 1) price 2) app features...and I returned the Amazefit buds for the BOSE sleep buds for one reason 1) the Amazefit app is, just so bad. I suffer from some pretty terrible insomnia (no problems falling asleep, but I wake up several times during the night) and I was super excited to find these for half the price of the BOSE Sleepbud II, and the app features were way more appealing than the BOSE app, which only has sleep sounds and an alarm. However, the Amazefit app features such as heart rate monitor and sleep tracker, are a far cry from anything resembling accurate and true. I compared the sleep data with my apple watch data and I was very disappointed in the quality of results I was receiving. I know that I wake up and would be awake for close to 30 minutes or more, but the app says I slept all night long or was only awake for a few minutes. <eye roll>Also the Amazefit app is very cumbersome and you have to click several areas just to get to where you want to go. Its just not ideal. There are so many roads in there that you need to take to get to your destination. I was lost several times, and I like to think of my self as a pretty tech savvy person. I sent these back after 25 days and suggest if you are looking for some sleep buds, just save up the extra $125.00 for the BOSE brand, you'll be so glad you did.You really do get what you pay for, and these missed the mark in all key areas EXCEPT comfort, they were comfortable to wear. The first few nights, (as a side sleeper) they were digging down too deep into my ear, but I sized up the silicon tips and that problem was solved. The sounds are limited compared to the BOSE brand as well with only 8 options to choose from vs. around 40 in the BOSE library. Of course the quality of the BOSE buds are unbeatable. If you're looking for a cheap option to the BOSE buds then these would be fine. If you're looking for sleep tracking I wouldn't suggest these at all or use an external app to track with. The selection of sounds and the quality of the sounds I get with the BOSE were enough to let me feel okay paying more for the BOSE buds. If the app would have been more reliable and accurate I probably would have kept these.I went ahead and bought a in depth sleep tracker app for my apple watch to track with and I feel like both the Amazefit and the BOSE buds really have helped me get a better handle on my sleep disturbances and the length of time I stay awake. I could focus on the sounds rather than my intrusive thoughts. I think I cut down the time I laid awake from 30-60 minutes down to 10-20 minutes.Overall if you're not expecting the app to be accurate I think these are fine earbuds and will provide a noise barrier (they are not noise cancelling only noise reducing). If you're really looking for better sound quality, product quality, and a better app experience in general then I would highly suggest the BOSE for a little more money.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE!
Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2021
I love doing tech reviews and I recently did a review on these over on my YouTube channel "OndaWire" so go check it out. I compare these to the Bose SleepBuds 2 and give all of my pros and cons for these Amazfit Zenbuds. They are a complete win all the way around and they cost almost half the price as the Bose.
    Pros:
    1. These are way better than the Bose sleepbuds 2, BY FAR!
    2. These are smaller, weigh less, and they fit in your ears so much better without any pressure from your pillow when you're trying to sleep.
    3. .These have a timer, an alarm if you choose to use it, and it also allows you to turn off notifications and ringing on your phone in case your phone was to ring in the middle of the night. I love these features and I am considering getting their watch as well to connect with these sleep buds.
    4. These don't have noise cancellation but have noise blocking and believe me, they BLOCK out a lot of noise. My neighbor to the left has dogs and my neighbor to the right has like 10 cats and I don't hear anything with these in my ears. These Amazfit Zenbuds are phenomenal.
    5. The battery life on these is amazing. On a full charge, they will last between 8-12 hours and the case allows you to charge them a few times as well.
    6. I also love how they put the lights on the outside of the case so you can tell how much charge is on the battery so there's no guessing.

    Cons:
    1. I wish there were more updates that allowed you to have more tunes/sounds to listen to. It only comes preset with a limited number but I wish you could add more to give a better variety.

Overall I absolutely love these. I am giving them a 5***** and would highly recommend them.
