This table was exactly what I hoped it to be and it exceeded my expectations. I put it together myself and it was just a piece of cake until the very last step that I needed my wife to assist me which wasn’t that bad. It didn’t take me too long since the instructions consists of just images but it’s pretty comprehensive since all the supplies like wood board and bolts/ screws (with a couple extras) has label on it which made it easier. The legs on this table are super sturdy and thick that it looks really nice when put together. I was super impressed with the quality of materials, its looks and feels like real wood, and is not flimsy at all. The top needs to be pulled or pushed from both sides, but is very easy to operate. Storage wise, it holds everything I needed it to. I fully recommend this coffee table.

Everything I hoped for

I was skeptical to get this because of some of the reviews from other websites. Instruction is pretty straight forward. I built this table by myself although it is recommended to build with two people (at least for the lifting top part of the table). You can build this all by yourself, it is hard but not impossible.

i play with game consoles in my bedroom sometimes and I love that I can store my mouse and keyboard in the table after I am done playing and the height of the table is perfect. when I use it with my keyboard for gaming or working on my laptop. Never have problem with it being wobbly. Looks and feels very solid to me. I use this everyday and don't have issues. 

this table I think will blend easily with most decor style of room you have.

Solid and functional.

As a minimalist I was looking for something that could be a coffee table, a laptop computer desk with storage and a dining table all in one and at an affordable price. This fits the bill to a tee! It's highly functional, looks great and I found nothing comparable for the price. It was fairly easy to put together and I couldn't be more content with my decision to purchase it. I highly recommend!

Coffee Table, Desk w/storage

This coffee table is a great option for a small space. The parts were well packaged and the product was defect free when I received it. It took about 2 hours for me to put together alone. I found the instructions to be easy to follow. Enough storage space for a throw blanket (and dog, lol) under the lift top and two small baskets easily fit on the lower shelf. To note: 
1. The height of the lift itself is short. I have a petite, athletic build and the table only clears my thighs by an inch. So, make sure you understand the seat height of whatever furnishing the table will be in front of (with an accommodation for your thighs) compared to the open height of this table.
2. The spring action on the lift can be quite swift/abrupt if you're not careful. I recommend not having food on the lift before opening until you are acclimated to this. I find using both hands allows you to better control the spring action when opening.
3. The lift top is either open or it is closed.  The top is not multi-positional.

With that, I love this table! It is the perfect size for my studio-sized condo and a great value.

Great coffee table for small space

It was very easy to put together. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is when you pull the top to go up, it doesn't come up evenly all together.

Easy to put together coffee table

A couple of years ago I had a simple Parsons table from Walmart, and it was essentially the table body and four legs that kind of just screw twist into place and it was nice for a while, and it served its purpose as well.

After having it for handful of years, while living on my own, for at least five years since the middle of September last year, because my coffee table, I use as my dinner table pretty much, the Parsons table is almost around the same size, and even though I used to put my laptop in the storage compartment, when the top was open, I decided to leave it right under that bottom shelf as a part of the table and that doesn't really bother me, But whenever I sit down to eat something, I can always pull the top up and towards me to eat in front of me and then close it back.

As you can see in the pictures, there's a lot of conveniences for me in my living room, that I have set up on my table along with three different different game system, controllers, napkins, and other oddities. 

because I used to work at a big lots years ago as well I used to help put together floor, model furniture pieces, so much like a kid would putting together a Lego, or a director set, I enjoyed putting this together, and there was one minor bump in the process of building the table, which wasn't necessarily on the instructions or on the pieces themselves, but I came to a point where I was trying to put it together and something about how the pieces were didn't make sense until I realized I missed a minor detail that I looked back on in the instructions and saw that I had missed this minor detail, but once I had that figured out, I was able to put the majority of it together, and I did build the whole thing, the only minor hiccup, not that it was a bad thing, but it took longer than I thought, was, I was comfortable putting the table top on the way that I did, but I ended up, attaching the hinges to the table, part itself, and then attaching the lift top on secondarily, and it didn't go onto too bad, but the strength it took for me maybe a good four or five times, stretching the spring on each side from the initial connecting spot to stretch it to the other area, where then holds its resistance after being built, that was a minorly bit difficult, but when you have tight coiled up springs, it takes a lot of strings to go against and past what the strength of the spring is to pull it out, but I finally muscle that last little bit of angst, and was able to connect it and got it put together, so even though it was a tough part, I don't regret building it, I enjoyed building it, and I like how it works for me.

I don't consider a bad table by any means, especially if the lift top design is what you might use as a flat surface for doing business or homework or writing down stuff kind of things or even just eating on because as I say, in my apartment, my coffee table is my dinner table pretty much.

A nice upgrade from the first simple one I had.

The look is very nice. Bright white, clean and crisp.  The downfall is the weight of the table.   When I lift the top, the entire table lifts off the ground .  A lot of foot action is necessary to hold the table down.  Another negative is the table height when opened. I am 5' 6" tall with average leg length. When sitting at the opened table, it's top hits my knees.  (see photo)

Good and bad features

90% manufactured MDF (pressboard).  The table consists of composite imitation wood laminated material.  This makes it look so obviously cheaply manufactured.  Two of the boards I received were chipped.  The manufacturer packaged it as is and was not concerned if the customer who bought it would care.  I do care and this is the reason why I am giving low ratings on this product.  I am attaching 2 photos of the damaged merchandise received.

Somewhat Disappointed

Very complicated to assemble and no tools provided … also defective item …holder should one on top and other one in bottom but found out only after spending 6 hours to assemble

Very poor design and very complicated to assemble.

After two hours spent building this, when we came to adding the top we couldn't because the springs that where provided were so thick and hard to pull, we would have lost some fingers and an eye. This seems dangerous in building and dangerous for daily use.
