This was my fist test of an electric bike and given I live in hilly San Francisco, I thought I should try it out. It was AMAZING! I tested it going up hill and the electric propeller was so easy to engage and it provided quite a bit of "push" even at the lowest level. I disengaged it by turning the power off (an easy click) and it went back to being a normal bike.

I like the fact that one can ride it as a normal bike and get the exercise but having the option to engage the electric mode when needed at my finger tip. Gear is on one side, rather than on both handles and I Love this feature!

What do I like about this bike? Looks great, easy to ride and the value is great.

Great Value!

If you have other styles of e-bikes, you may expect different things from this one. It operates as a pedal assist or traditional bicycle. There is not a throttle. Every so many revolutions of the tires activates the electric to propel the bike. Three modes are for levers of electric assistance. Mine came without any shipping issues or assembly problems. I don't have issues with it handling my weight (within 60lbs of limit). The tires are road tires so it would make sense to expect them to struggle in other terrain, but I don't have issues in my gravel driveway. The gears shift smoothly and hand brakes work great. With pedal assist, it takes a few seconds to stop on your first few trips. Once you get used to the bike, no issues with gauging your stop distance. I ultimately selected this bike over others for its price and design. I was worried about the key and losing it, however, it can be removed once you turn it on. The battery has a button that has to be turned on before you use it. I'm guessing it's a safety feature to protect the battery/electrical components. It comes out easily to charge and snaps back into place. My only problem is the seat. I'm looking for a different one that is more comfortable. I can say my husband was eager to see it in action and was very pleased with its speed and battery life compared to our other electric bikes.

Great bike good range

I like the sitting position because I don't suffer from back pain due to the fact of incorrect positioning. Very stylish, sleek, and the designs are just perfect. I also like that it looks extraordinary compared with any other electric bikes. The battery is decent, and charging is quick. The saddle seems to be comfortable and acceptable. 
I bought two of these bikes for myself and my wife so we could ride fourteen miles away from home to the beach back and forth to enjoy the breeze.  I don't know why other reviews had trouble assembling the bike. The only thing I installed was the steering column and the pedals. The bike was already partially assembled out of the box. Other reviews complain of the chain falling off from the cassette. I found this right because I noticed one of our bikes was having that problem. It was the bracket holding the two gears below the cassette, and it might have been bent during delivery by fed ex. I love the bike and been riding it at least twice a week. My only complaint is the delivery because the shipping we're delayed for many days. And when I received it, the packaging was torn apart as it seems like someone already opened it. There is a fragile sign printed on the box, but I guess there are tendencies that the bike can get damaged from the shipping the way it hauled by carriers.

Truly assisted electric Bike!

This bike barely self propelled with the electric feature engaged even on high on flat pavement even though I am far below the weight limit. I chalked that up to it being a cheaper model and I need the exercise anyway so decided to keep it. Unfortunately it would not hold a charge so I returned it.

Junk

I bought this ebike online in August 2020 but when I received it, I realized it did not come with the parts advertised online.  The front wheel did not have the quick release as advertised and was bolted with two bolt nuts.  Also the display/controller was a totally different model that did not have the " " and "-" to control the pedal assist as advertised.  It just had a low, med and high mode that only allows the pedal assist mode to move up - so for example when I am riding in the medium assist mode and want to go to the low assist, I have to stop pedaling, brake, and push the mode button  3 times quickly - first to high, then off, then low.  I rode the bike for a couple of weeks to see if I could get use the display/controller but realized it was too aggravating as well as unsafe, so I decided to  contact Kent customer service this was their reply:

This would have been useful information BEFORE I purchased the ebike so that I could have bought a different brand - not getting these options with the ebike is a total deal breaker.  I also contacted Kent customer service to see if I could buy the  display controller that is advertised with the ebike but they never replied to my email.

I just purchased this bike and had it delivered today. I cant believe this bike cost $800. The front forks are welded at a skew and offset so the front tire is impossible to put on. Completely unrideable. The rear frame was also welded in the wrong spot so the rear tire sits higher off the ground. Meaning the pedals hit the ground making it also unrideable. I cant believe this made it past quality controls. If I didnt have photos people would think im cuckoo.

Unfortunately the bike came in a taped up box with many missing parts. I contacted Walmart who told me to contact Kent who then told me to contact Walmart. I am stuck with an e bike that has no pedals battery and battery cable, quick release or kick stand   Extremely dissatisfied with both vendors   Doesn't even warrant a single star!

The bicycle arrived late, no light at all, I can't even ride as just a bicycle because is vibrating A LIT ALMOST FALL. I NO EVEN TRY TO USE THE BATTERY. VERY HEAVY LIW QUALITY

Kent ebike are the worse!

The bike  box came in damaged and is missing the battery charger plus some other parts looks like it's been used before the seller needs to get a hold of me right away
