I've been lugging my heavy twin DeWalt compressor around which is fine for big jobs where you can leave it on the jobsite but no fun for little jobs when you just have to tack up a few things. The weight and size of this PC pancake are a delight. I can do the same sizes nails with it as with my big one but maybe not as much. It cycles alot when you do multiple nails like on a 4x8 sheet of ply. the bad = drain valve at the bottom is hard to turn. It's a small knurled knob that is hard to open at times. The two connectors are nice, but look like they are an accident waiting to happen where they will get bumped and break off, Which leads to my last point, the compressor has only 3 legs and gets tipped easily, hence the worry about the connectors. The plastic housing doesn't look sturdy either. I would have liked a longer cord too! But it is handy and works great so far.Read full review

I build custom cabinets on site and do all of the finish work. Case base etc.. i have purchased at least 3 of this same compressor. This one is refurbished and seems to have a problem once the regulated pressure is achieved, and the tank pressure gets to its 150.psi shut off... it sounds as if something isnt quite right.. or loose it rattles.. like the motor may give out... i have it regulated to just under 120 psi for my nail guns... i just wonder when they refurbish, if they actually give it a test run, to make sure, its running just like new... which it should... ive had it approx 4 weeks now.. its still running and i use it everyday all day, yet after having 3 new ones, it doesnt sound quite right.. so though im still concerned, its doing the job... yet i think for daily use buy new... if you only use compressor on occasion, then get the refurb... to keep cost down..Read full review

I needed a compact portable compressor capable of running a small paint gun, filling tires, etc.. This compressor is perfect for the job. It fills fairly fast, and has enough tank storage to keep a level of pressure while using it. It is easy to move around, and not too heavy. It seems pretty well built. You will need to add a hose and accessories. Two quick connect/disconnectors are installed already. Only downside is this is the loudest compressor I've ever dealt with. It is considerably louder than my lawnmower. You will probably want to wear hearing protection if you work around it for extended periods.

I have a large 21 Gallon Air Compressor and a small 100 PSI Pan Cake that I use with my Air Hammers. The 21 is too hard to move around where I need it and the 100 is a little to small for the framing nailer. This one can be move very easily and has the power to use with all my Air Tools. Great addition to my Tools that make my work easy.

I sometimes am weary about "reconditioned" items, but if they still hold the manufacture's warranty and are a great price; I have found that you can benefit from it. This compressor does everything I need from a pancake format which are light duty jobs for now. The size can't compare with the larger one I was lugging up and down the stairs during a remodel. For the price I paid, it is an EXCELLENT value!
