I'm really enjoying this watch. I've had the original Samsung Gear for almost two years. It uses Tizen rather than Android Wear so I wanted to give Wear a try to get a good comparison with Tizen. I have to say I really like Android Wear better, the Google Now & voice integration is amazing and fast. Samsung did a great job with the specs on this watch. The quad core processor makes the voice integration seamless and really fast. Whether it's replying to an email, SMS or IM, asking a question or giving the watch commands it responds instantaneously. There is zero lag. Compare that to Tizen and S Voice which is extremely laggy when it actually interprets your commands correctly. The quad core and Wear may also contribute to the dismal battery life this watch and other Wear based watches have. I find myself using the voice features a lot more, since they actually work, so I'm sure that contributes to the battery issues. On Tizen I get 7-8 day on a charge vs 2.5-3 days on Wear. That is a huge difference however I enjoy the experience of Wear much better so I'll just charge more often. Charging this watch is also interesting since Samsung included a small clip on charger, which looks better than the original charger for the Gear, that is a pain to get on. There was an issue with the little indentations on the charger andor the watch snapping off. I haven't had that issue but it is a documented issue that several people have experienced. I like the silver chrome look of the body and the black bezel with no writing. The watch has a clean classy look look vs the utilitarian look of the Gear with exposed screws. Samsung could have included a nicer metal band but at least it uses a standard 22mm connection so you can put whatever band you want it. The two things I miss about the Original Gear are the camera and the speaker. Even though I didn't use the camera often it is handy to have when your phone is dying and you want to snap some pics. The speaker in invaluable, as I have answered many calls on my Samsung Gear when my hands where full and i couldn't reach my phone. One thing I really love about this watch is the built-in wifi, I can connect my watch to phone from anywhere there is an internet connection. I can even do it on wifi hotspots with a capture portal (those that require clicking an accept button or authentication) by installing Wear Browser. This feature was added in Wear 5.1.1 and works perfectly. I paid $79 for the watch which originally sold for $200 so I think I got a great deal. Even though I won't give it 5 stars it is still a great watch and well worth what I paid for it.Read full review

I bought this product thinking it was a steal, because seller advertised as new but the watch is actually refurbished, it came without plastic cover for the watch and had a user debug firmware which gave only a few features of the watch and not all of them. It is a nice price for the watch but refurbished means that only comes with 90 days warranty from manufacturer instead of a full year. Seller offered RMA but a stocking fee was to be collected. If you decide to keep the watch google for samsung gear live Restore Tool V2 and follow the steps to revert back to factory image and then the watch will update on its own until the current android wear version. V3 is available but use V2 I had a lot of issues with V3 and V2 worked perfectly. now watch syncs great with phone and connects to wifi and works with all appsRead full review

The shipping was really fast. However USPS did deliver it to the wrong address and had to correct it which took an extra day. I never recommend USPS for reliable delivery. The item looks new and was advertised as new. However the Samsung seal was a new seal placed over a broken seal. The packaging was not as tight as when they are new. At minimum the watch was new and repackaged in its original packaging. The watch doesn't always connect to the charger cradle. You have to remove it and replace it several times to get the charging icon to show. Don't know if this is a symptom of the software, typical of the charger design or a problem with the cradle.

====BEWARE OF BEING SCAMMED BY BREED, SELLING REFURBISHED PRODUCT ===== When you receive the box, there is DOUBLE seals on the box. The original Samsung seal is broken and there is a new Samsung seal on top of it. The sticker for IMEI also has double stickers which the original one is covered up. Not suspicious at all, how about you? Software is dev build (sprat-userdebug 5.0.1 dev-keys). This means the watch can NEVER receive any more updates on the watch. This software is also an error caused by GeekSquad from Bestbuy with their refurbished product. (Take a look on google with the software name) Their support told me that they have a big inventory and mixed up between refurbished and new products. BREED is a company that sells on multiple website and tells their customer that they have problems with organization...Read full review

I used this device for a few days. One of the screws that hold the metal piece onto the wristband fell out. I was able to put it back in but maybe a week later, both screw fell out and the middle piece went missing. The price was good but if I have to worry about losing the whole thing because it can no longer stay on my wrist, it's definitely not worth it. I wanted the device to do a little bit more from its screen but the majority of commands needed to be taken care of from the phone. It helped keep track of my steps which was great. One thing I wanted it to do was keep track of my sleep but it does not do that.
