I bought a second Woodbourne during Polk's Black Friday sale. With 180 watts this unit can deliver more volume than I can handle. The bass is deeper than I expected but not booming. AirPlay works faultlessly from my computer, but drops at every call from my phone. I bought my first one used for $260, then got the second a few months later NIB from Polk for $210. I wouldn't pay $600, but it is amazing for $300.

The speaker sounds amazing, no doubt about that. The wi-fi airplay mode is unstable at best, even with the wireless router only 10 feet away and is in line-of-sight. Bluetooth is the exact same as Airplay, unreliable. I can have my phone or tablet within inches on the speaker, and the sound still cuts in and out, and can even sound like static from time to time. The included 3.5mm audio cable provided is poorly made, with the plug ends falling apart, and the cable shorting out with only a couple months use. The remote arrived with dead batteries, but thankfully that is an easy fix.

Had small Klipping issue with bloothouth, talk to polk They sent a new one in 2 days no charge .... Now my girlfriend and I have 2 units Amazing sound , like towers , Buy only from Polk dealers , I will always buy their products exclusively . If Polk made a car I would buy one.

Great sound. Very well built. However it isn't very portable. Can definitely fill a whole room with high quality sound. But u need a sub for very low base. For what it does compared to the size I was very impressed. One star taken off because of usb issues

Everything is great EXCEPT there is no way to get it repaired. Polk has no parts or diagrams to help with the 5 year warantee! Our last one last less than 3 years and we spent a $100 and months trying to get a repair. Great sound , but don't buy any extended coverage.
