I broke my last one when it fell out of my pocket during exercise. Glad you had another to replace it with. This phone may not be the latest phone, but it holds up fine for me and my busy life. Windows phones are not the best for playing games, but will help with accessing office documents and with the microsoft cloud gives you the ability to have all your files at your fingertips.

I wanted to upgrade from my Lumia 822 to something with a 5" screen. The Ativ was a bit cheaper than an Icon and did have a nice big 5" screen and a great camera, but it was no "upgrade". Random reboots plagued this phone even after all updates were done. IE crashed often and occasionally emptied my favorites. Some of my best apps weren't compatible with Samsung, so I lost those too. Never again shall I stray away from Nokia. Next stop, Lumia Icon, and an even better camera.

I bought this product due to excellent experince l had with Window Phone HTC TyTN II. The features of Samsung Ativ S is great with excellent battery. The camera is great. I had difficulty in locating my files from micro SD card. The phone did not support many free android applications. The phone did not easily sync with my window 7 laptop. Microsoft Office programmed on the phone is complicated. I found Microsoft Office Window 6.5 in my previous phone much better. Due to this, l returned the phone and got Galaxy S3 which is much better and easy to program with many applications.
It's too bad more people don't give Windows phones a shot. They are really fantastic, and made for those who want to get things done. The ATIV S is one of the best out there, too. Windows phone doesn't require the most powerful processor or tons of RAM, and this dual core phone is as fast as you could ever need. The T899 is LTE ready on T-Mobile, too. Great OS, easy access to every feature, very good camera, LTE speed, very good screen, and a very premium feel.
I've been a windows phone fan since WP7 first came out. I used to have Omnia 7, Lumia 900, Lumia 920 and then Lumia 1520, and this Samsung Ativ S is the highest Cost-Performance phone ever!I loved Lumia series, but AT&T didn't allow some great features to work on other carriers even it's unlocked(such as network sharing, tethering). and btw, you can get this great phone for about $200, what more can you expect?
