I have been watching these for the last 6 months and finally pulled the trigger and purchase one as I wanted to take my espresso making to the next level after having used many of the cheaper versions. This has proved to be a awesome step forward, this espresso machine brews a fantastic espresso/latte/coffee. Very easy to use, plus you can go online a watch some posted YouTube videos on how to competently operate this espresso maker. Overall experience has been incredible.

I hope I don't jinx myself by giving a glowing review after only using this machine for a little over one week but here goes. This refurbished machine arrived in perfect condition. Other than a few grinds in the brew group from the test brew it arrived in brand new condition. The cappuccinatore frother device on my machine is plastic, not the metal one pictured in the ad but functions well. Many reviewers complain about beans getting jammed in the hopper but I have not experienced a problem after 2 lbs. of beans. My old Incanto gave up the ghost after 7 years so the brew I was used to probable was diminished because of the age of my machine. This may be the reason that the coffee/espresso from this machine is so good. I am satisfied with the ease of use, minimal maintenance, flexible controls and beverages produced by my new intelia.Read full review

The old and reliable Saeco is now a part of the Phillips conglomorate. So far the new machine has been excellent but it takes a lot of maintanence work compared to my old Saeco unit. The old Saeco Vienna Deluxe worked for over 13 years with minimal problems and only required a weekly 5 minute cleaning. Due to the amount of coffee drinks we makes daily, between 10-20 cups per day, the new Saeco/Phillips Intelia requires a monthly cleaning with their descaling liquid. We also use the coffeee cleaning tablets every week. All of this takes about 30-45 minutes per week and an end of the month cleaning of about 60-90 minutes. Although you can bypass both cleaning procedure, it does nullify the warranty. But the overall quality of our coffee drinks is superior than my old Saeco Vienna Deluxe. Below is a concise top 3 highlights: Pro: 1. Sleek and Industrial looking design 2. Excellent Coffee 3. Lots of features Cons: 1. Time Consuming to maintain and clean. 2. Flushes the water from the tubes after sleep mode which requires refilling the water several times a day. 3. Time Consuming to maintain and clean.Read full review
Great machine and steam wand for froth but if it not turned off it dispenses water then shuts off. If your finished and want to turn off, it also dispenses water thru the brew head. Don't like tis.

If you love fresh grinded coffee, but don't have time for classic espresso machine - this machine for you. It requires some attention and maintenance but it's a small price for good coffee in the morning. Cappuccinatore is too noisy, but i rarely use it. In all other way - great machine.
