I know nothing about guitars. I bought this item wanting to learn how to play. It has been great, I would say for beginners, who don't want to break the bank on a fancy guitar this is your guitar. The only thing is that is easily kicked out of tune, if you tune it up right before you play it is no problem, and with the many tuning apps on your phone this is quick and easy.
