I bought the steerable model of his garden cart thinking it would steer round the curves in my paths but it is impossible to steer it while sitting on it making moving it about a bit more difficult. However it works excellently in all other respects and makes gardening far less painful than before.

For me, I'm sitting too high off the ground. I'm 5 feet 4 1/2, so not tall. Although if it was lower, it probably would hurt my knees to sit down on it. I bought it because I can't kneel or squat to do gardening because of knee pain and I can't bend over because of low back pain. It's almost impossible to lean over and reach ground level. It's still helpful in that I can bend over, do my weeding and then sit to relieve my low back pain. The steering is really hard to move, but that might be because we tightened it too much when we put it together. The instructions are not helpful in this area. Also, the handle for steering would be more useful if it was longer and could be used to pull it around (like when I wheel it to the garage for storage). It hurts my back to bend over and push it around so I tied a rope on it and pull it which is easier on my back. Basically, I'm making due with it and it's helpful in some ways. Read full review

Was well built, but, didn't really suit my need. I wanted it to use in the garden that had been freshly tilled to plant seeds. It was too hard to roll in the freshly tilled dirt, therefore unable to use it. Would be fine for using on hard ground. Works as a seat for working on cars though.

Great quality, very sturdy, nice big rubber tires. The steering is a little stiff, but I am sure with use it'll be fine. Great purchase!

My wife and I are early baby boomers and we still enjoy the gardens. Bending and kneeling on the manmade knees slows you down and also makes it less enjoyable. The rolling work seat makes the work much easier as you get your tools for planting or weeding and move along the rows easily. Had other cart designs but the wheels were thin and sunk into the tilled soil these seem sufficient. Note it is worth doing some planning of the row widths and sacrificing some space if you want to use the cart for weeding or say harvesting bush beans. This is not necessary for the planting -- just keep backing up.
