This is my first Chromebook. I wasn't really sure what to expect being used to a regular laptop and Windows 10. I was pleasantly surprised. It is very fast, battery life is great, no glare on the screen. Does everything I need it to do. There is a bit of a learning curve but that is part of the enjoyment of something new, learning how to use it and how it differs from what you're used to. Have also gotten a lot of compliments on how it looks. Very happy so far.

i bought this just to have around the house - on the kitchen counter when cooking, looking up stuff when doing crossword puzzles, watching netflix movies in bed, checking emails...and it's really pretty great. super-thin and lightweight, long battery life - keep it plugged in on counter but has run maybe 8 hours unplugged. it powers down smoothly and comes right back up when a key or mouse is pressed. i use a chromecast for watching movies, and this supports it with the chrome extension. chromeOS connects to my google account transparently, so google drive is effectively local. i got a REALLY good deal on this unit - $104 - one of the best value purchases i've made in a long time.

I wanted a lightweight "internet machine" with a long battery life, and full keyboard for work. This fit the bill perfectly. I can get 3 days of work out of it (Three 12-hour shifts, ~3 hours of moderate internet usage. Easy to use, easy to set up. My only complaint, which is why it got 4 instead of 5 stars, is with the Bluetooth connectivity. My wireless earbuds connect to the Chromebook just fine, but the sound quality is absolutely ATROCIOUS. I can connect the same earbuds to my iPhone, and the sound quality is excellent, so I know the problem lies in the Chromebook. Overall a good machine, and I would buy it again.

I love this machine! So care free. So fast. So affordable. It is a bit different in some ways to do what a PC will do but it can do it. User must accept Google way of life. It was a hurdle for me. But I am now very happy I did! I am not a gamer so I cant comment on that aspect of the computer. I like making free telephone calls from my Chromebook. I had a wireless printer already and had HP help me set it up to my Chromebook. I use the free cloud storage and though I didnt want to at first, I was glad I did. It really does simplify your life. Oh and when you first get it and you dont know how to do something, just ask Google and it will tell you how. Then you remember and you love it.

I bought this for my foster daughter who is a junior in high school. The price caught my eye and when it came, I was blown away by the quality for the price. It is small and light, yet has everything she needs for school. It looked brand new although it was listed as "manufacturer refurbished." We were able to utilize video chat to Mexico and the quality of the screen is really good. It's a great little laptop for the price. I'd buy another for sure!
