The Motorola SF500 Bluetooth ear buds are my first foray into the world of stereo Bluetooth ear buds. I have looked online, researched several top brands, and based on the written reviews, this is one of the better models with consistently high user reviews and professional reviews. I intend to use these under my motorcycle helmet paired with my Motorola Razr phone. I have yet to road test on the bike, but I have played with them while on the riding lawn mower. The ear piece is moldable and fits my ear canals comfortably (They come with three sets Sm, Med and Lrg). I have sensitive ears so this is a big relief to me. We have 2 acres to mow so I had them in for about 2 1/2 hours with no complaints or discomfort. Considering I was on a riding mower, the music sound was very nice. I am not an audiophile but I do appreciate the subtleties of my Duran Duran and Adele. These are no Bose but who needs to spend that kind of money. Probably the best sounding ear buds I have heard for the price. I wear ear protection on the mower and there was no discomfort at all in regards to the wires that attach the buds to the device. This is a positive as the ear protection fits a lot snugger around the ears then my helmet does. I was listening to Pandora while mowing and seamlessly able to take an incoming call, the song paused(or muted) with the incoming call alert, I pushed once on the play/pause button and answered the call. The clarity was impressive considering I was outdoors on a breezy day sitting on an idling riding mower. This unit allows volume control from the headset as well as from the phone, so you can kind of tune the volume max capacity on the phone then use the volume control on the headset to play with in the range so you do not accidently blast your eardrums. I bought these headphones to replace my LG headset that was giving me problems. These headphones have great sound quality and are pretty loud. Drawback is that they don't vibrate to alert you to an incoming call and my power button stopped working correctly after using them to cut the yard. I read that many people have had this problem and there is even a fix online that required opening them up and putting a small piece of foil inside of it so I ended up just returning them and getting the Samsung gear circle. They are cool but not as loud. I would recommend if you are very careful and don't use them for work or working out.

The ear buds are comfortable. The battery is great and it is easy to use. The mic is clear and sounds amazing. Only negative is the small neck portion. Have to push them lower onto the base of the shoulder to feel even remotely comfortable. Just a design flaw that could be improved.

When you look at all the things you want in a headset they are all there with these. Comfortable to wear, light weight, great sound, and long battery life. All the function controls are easy to use and not hanging in the wrong place. the only thing I had trouble with is the wires to the buds are a little weak and seem to short out easily, something to guard against. I've used a few different brands and types and for me these are the ones I come back to.

This is a good headset. Audio quality is decent. While answering a phone, some times, the other person won't be able listen properly. Also, while talking on phone, some times, there will be a noise, with which you can not listen anything. Then the audio from phone should be switched to earpiece and then to Bluetooth again, to get it working.
