I bought one of these 2-3 years ago to use in my truck. At night we (drivers) will call each other just to break the boredom of the road, get directions, etc. These headsets are comfortable, very clear and will last for hours on a single charge.I had to replace a battery in mine recently due to it not holding a charge . Probably had 2-3 thousand hrs of talk and standby on it. Battery is cheap(ebay) and easy to install.Thoroughly satisfied.

I did plenty of research before deciding on a bluetooth headset for my husband (otr driver) and this one in particular had the best reviews so with so many recommending this product I decided to purchase this brand. Save your money is all I can say. The noise cancelling works great, Can't hear when his window is down or any background noise at that but that's about the only positive. Clarity is a huge downfall. He sounds like he has covered the mic when talking (which he isn't) He can barley here me which means quality of the sound through the bluetooth is also a downfall. Does not live up to the reviews people have left. He has only had it 2 weeks and will be purchasing another in the near future. Blue Eagle was what he had previous but died after 5 yrs and with that being said that will be our next purchase.Read full review

I'm using this in my office and for the first few days it's working okay. Dragon Naturally Speaking says it's "acceptable" as to microphone quality. VOIP calls are fine. The headband is a little tight and I don't have an exceptionally fat head, although I have been called so. Most troubling was that the mono drivers for this device didn't install plug and play. After messing for an hour trying to get this to work, I called technical support and twenty minutes on hold wasn't terrible, but then the tech guy directed me to download the Broadcom bluetooth drivers from their website which are apparently the best and most universal. Whatever. I complained if Blueparrot had simply put that information in their FAQ it would have saved a lot of time and aggravation, but they can't because Blueparrott cannot direct their customers to download drivers from another manufacturer. Apparently. Makes sense, but very frustrating. Issue effects specific PC configurations I'm not exactly sure. I have a Win 7/64 setup with a bluetooth USB dongle, not built in, so maybe that's it. I don't know. I also uninstalled my Plantronics Voyager bluetooth headset; don't know if I can reinstall along with the B250-XT. I am concerned about the battery issue. I have a two year old B250XT which just died because apparently the battery and its charging system commonly malfunction. There are many dozens of google posts on this issue. So hopefully I've gotten a good unit which will last and not die out. We'll see. What I like about this unit really is the mono earpiece and boom microphone. As good as the other bluetooth headsets are, I like that the microphone here sits near to my mouth instead of near my ear. But that's just me. My office has a lot of outside noise from firetrucks and ambulances and I'm hoping the boom microphone doesn't pick those up like the Voyager bluetooth device does. I'll report back. What I saw right away is that while the Plantronics Voyager headset rang in my ear when a caller dialed in, and said to me "answer, or ignore?," and I could speak either one, this unit does not seem to do that. Buy maybe I need to try and pair it with my iPhone for that feature to be enabled. I don't know. I'll report back.Read full review
I was skeptical at first. But my work truck is so noisy that I could not make or receive phone calls so I thought I would give this a try. I am glad that I did. Because now I can make calls even when I'm in busy traffic. My wife says that my voice comes through loud and clear. It also works very well with the voice commands on my samsung phone as I use it to send and receive texts. Couple of small drawbacks are you get headphone hair, and it takes some time to get used to a bigger device on your ear. Other than that, I highly recommend this Bluetooth headphone.

I bought this headset to replace the one I had before. It was the older model. It has lasted 12 years. That's right! 12 years! While it is still working, I wanted to upgrade to the newer model and retire "Old Faithful". This new model dies not disappoint. Noise is not an issue even when standing beside a running 18 wheeler! Being able to voice dial and the other hands free features are a must over the road. This headset had it all. I will never buy another brand.
