The LG Sunset is nice sized phone for me and the features were everything I needed. GSM band and my wife's is CDMA so when we are traveling at least one of us should have reception. Notice that the default picture quality is 3 megapixel, I changed it to 5 for better pics.

I originally got this phone for my wife. We both had Tracfone feature phones and she wanted to try a smart phone. Set up was easy and the phone itself is great. Lots of useful apps, interface intuitive to use. So, I figured I wanted to try one myself. Same situation with start up/ set up. I'm still working my way through the settings and etc. Haven't made any egregious errors that I couldn't back out of. Waiting for my 32Gb micro SD to arrive so I can increase the storage. I look forward to be constantly staring at the screen as I walk down the street and scrolling through page after page of whatever it is people stare at while eating in a restaurant.

This phone is a upgrade from my LG 840G which is a java phone. While the 840g was a good “phone”. The LG L33L Sunset is light years ahead in all aspects. Because your are paying for your data, remember it’s Tracfone, when Wi-Fi is available, turn off the data on the phone and connect to the internet using Wi-Fi = Free internet. So if you want a phone that will do more than make calls and you want to go on the internet using 4G LTE speed this is great phone. I threw on a Tempered Glass Screen Protector and case, now it’s complete. It’s a GSM-A phone so you’ll be using AT&T network. I like the 4.5 screen it's just right to fit in your pocket- not to big like the 5.5" or 6" phones.

I had a older Tracfone that I was replacing, already had this model that I use for work. So I replaced my older street phone with this phone. Works good, Has every feature as the higher price phone and is 4G. Faster response and better picture are taken with this phone, vs my older phone. I like that I do not need a monthly contract since I do not use the phone enough to have one. I get a phone that works well, does not cost me a lot of money.

I upgraded to this phone from an LG 840G. The Tracfone LG Sunset is a great first smartphone, this thing makes my old phone look like an antique. I have not figured out how to add music yet, but with time I hope I will. And it does not show your current Airtime Balance on the Home Screen like my old Tracfone did, but if you dial *777*1# the phone will show a message on the screen for you Airtime Balance.
