Okay...we have two computers in the house, one laptop and the other a desktop. My laptop runs window xp and has IE8...the desktop is windows2000 and IE6 I think. JUST BY CHANCE right now, GD opened up on my homepage...but MOST days it won't open up. It will say "page cannot be displayed". I thought it was just my laptop doing it..but its the desktop too. I can open ANY website on both computers EXCEPT for GD. I have rebooted, turned off and on the wireless, unplugged the router and dsl box....nothing works. What is it? Does any else have this problem?? I can't stand not being able to check the black friday boards or deals on a daily basis. Yesterday I was able to open it up upon opening IE...but as soon as I exited out....then tried to open it up again..."page cannot be displayed" showed up and I couldn't get back on till now. So, when I close my browser again, I probably won't be able to get back on till who knows when. Can ANYONE help me fix this????? I don't know what else to do!! I even cleared my cache and cookies and deleted temp internet files too. That didn't help either. If anyone can help me..I'd appreciate it. Just incase I can't get back on to check for responses...my email is [email address] if you could email me directly on this. Thanks SO MUCH!!!!!

although it's on two different computers, try using a different browser to begin with and let us know if that helps.

I live by Google Chrome..
others by Mozilla Firefox

I agree with trying at a different location.

Who is your ISP?

Here I am again..took me 3 days to open up gottadeal. If I werent such a GD addict..it wouldn't bother me....but it I am..and it does. I have cleaned out my cookies, cache, history, disabled McAfee, enabled it, ran a spyware search, everything I can think of...I even updated from IE 7 to 8...even tried firefox...nothing. Idon't get it.

Anyone know if there's an IP address she can try to get to the forums while avoiding a DNS lookup? Knowing if that makes a difference could be informative.
