Zhu Zhu pets... how hard will they be to find for Christmas?

Went to WalMart today just on a whim, and I asked someone in Toys if there were any Zhu Zhus. She said no (what a surprise) AND then told me that the store had ordered over 1000, so there should be some before Christmas. I told her all I wanted was A hamster. So, she told me to come back tonight after 11:30 PM and talk with an assnt manager. She said he would unlock one for me. Say What? Yes, it appears that some stores are keeping them in back and you have to inquire about them (with an assnt manager) because they know people are selling them on eBay and they are trying to prevent this, thus people are having to ask for them.

Seems kind of weird to me. . . Why would WalMart want to have their assnt managers be the ones to be the Hamster Keepers? Maybe employee issues? No clue, but I thought it was interesting.

Then as I was shopping a lady stopped me and say 'ya know, it's a limit of 2 of those zhu zhu items per person so...' and she kinda looked at me as if to say GIVE ME SOME OF YOUR STUFF WOMAN! Well, there was no sign so I said 'Mam, that is none of your concern what is in my basket.; and she said, 'well, I'm going to follow you around until you check out as you won't be able to buy them all'. I told her I had other people with me if that was the case and I was getting what is in my basket. She then asked 'well, where are they then'....I told her 'none of your BUSINESS'. She said again 'well, I'm going to follow you till you check out-seriously I am'. WTH!? Are you kidding me! I told her NO you aren't and she said oh yes I am, I said fine, I'll go get someone to MAKE her get away from me and she said FINE! OMG!!! In the meantime, my sister in law was waiting up by the registers in case I needed her and she came over to me and said 'you are lucky you got your stuff when you did as they are NOW putting up a sign that says LIMIT 3! (She was standing up front listening to management talk) So I asked if I would be allowed to buy what I had and she said oh yes, you are fine as you got your stuff before they imposed a limit and let me get what I wanted. I told the lady I had a stalker following me around who was trying to take my stuff and turned around and she was standing there of course! OMG! Are you kidding me! She was SOOOOO MAD! She wanted my stuff!!!! But they said they were unloading a truck and there may be more to come but they weren't sure! OMG! I STILL cannot believe this woman! Oh and one woman ran a cart into my ankle and it's STILL sore! WOW!!!! These people are NUTZ!!!!! Glad I got all my stuff I needed already! IT'S definitely not worth all that!

I would have been PO'd! That is just INSANE! I think I would have gone to management and complained that I felt threatened because someone was stalking me and had been menacing towards me. See if they would detain the troll or boot her back to the bridge she crawled from.

my SIL got one yesterday morning at TRU then hurried over to Target and got another one. so now we are still looking for accessories! does anyone think TRU might have some on BF?!?

I think they will because they are doing the tickets to the first 100 people in line to buy a zhu zhu deal. If it is anything like it was on Saturday, they will have a whole bunch of accessories too.

Ok people! We are just days away from the Black Friday madness. We need to focus on who will have the pets and accessories on Black Friday. We know TRU will have them. Do we have any firm answers on Walmart and Target? Let the madness begin!!!!

I went looking for an accessory this morning and I asked about the pets and the person in the toy dept told me that none of the zhu zhu pets are being put on the floor, if someone wants them they have to get them from a manager, they are locked up in her office!!!!

yeah what store was it?!? my local wal-mart said they haven't seen any in awhile, hmmm are they lying?!? and OMG I am soooooooooo excited about BF!!! I wonder if the accessories will be in the same spot at TRU or will they be behind a counter or something?!? this is my first year BF shopping at TRU, I'm a wal-mart girl!!!! I'm so excited!!! any tips for TRU shopping?!?

I think that's insane to keep them locked in the manager's office so they can monitor who buys them. I mean, who are they to determine who really needs one and who wants it for resale? These are toys for crying out loud! It should be none of their concern as to what people do with them once they buy them. Geesh! Just put the dang things out with a limit of 1 or 2 per customer.

Ok, so now my question is do they just hand them out to certain people? How do they know who is going to sell them and who really needs them. I could see if someone came in and asked for everything they have. I just don't know anymore. I am glad that I have everything I need! Now just looking for others but my priority is over...
