Could use improvements, GREAT watch overall though!
I'm going to start by saying that if you are looking for a great FITNESS tracker, sleep tracker and would like to see notifications from your watch then you will LOVE this device, simple! **FYI, there is NO SPEAKER and NO MIC on this watch** I regularly use a Fossil Wear OS watch so I'm not going to compare the two since the OS are pretty different and this Amazfit watch doesn't have apps you can sideload. I don't ever use NFC, or 3rd party apps on my android watch so I decided to give this Amazfit GTS a try since the OS seems pretty simple and it's all about that BATTERY LIFE! I'm tired of paying $200+ for a smartwatch and needing to charge it everyday, those days are dead for me now. See below for highlights on this watch:PROS:- VERY lightweight on the wrist- Beautiful screen and tons of watch faces- Notifications work well, can control your music player as well from your phone- Heart sensor is super accurate- Sleep tracking is excellent, can detect how much deep sleep you get as wellRoom for IMPROVEMENTS:- Notifications cannot show pictures or emojis (Not a huge deal but....I just don't understand it)- TRUST ME...the stock notifications are so-so but if you install the app called Notify and Fitness for Amazfit, you can supercharge the notifications and watch features by 100%!! Do this immediately and thank me later.- Using the Always On Display cuts the battery down big time! You'll get around 4 days of battery life with it on vs the 12-14 days if you only turn on the lift wrist to view time option.- GPS is better after a recent update, still a tad delayed but it worked good for me the 4 times I tested it- Why can't we view the Sleep tracking details ON the watch?
