A flat mouse?????? Never thought it would feel so good!!!

Just purchased mouse today to replace a Logitech mouse and also a Microsoft mouse, I didn't like either one. The Logitech had two speeds fast for horizontal scrolling and slow for vertical (could not be adjusted), the Microsoft mouse was ok but kind of jerky. I have never used a Kensington product and I admit that the flatness of this mouse made me somewhat suspicious - would I like it?

The answer: Yes!!!!! This mouse feels better than most others I have used and it installed itself flawlessly. Having the ability to use the mouse with a wired or wire-less mode is fantastic. I love this thing, very accurate!!!

Please don't buy this one. It's really bad design. The top cap is coming off easily.

I was rather skeptical about how comfortable and practical a flat mouse would be, and boy was I wrong to think that!
I have always bought Logitech, and I still like their the mice they make, but they do not make mice that are slim, and the one I had would bulge out of my laptop carry case. This one just slides in and what do you know, no bulge!
What also got me was the fact that I could even use it when the batteries were dead by simply connecting it to the USB receiver and voila, a wired mouse. One minus point though, the wire is just long enough to use it on the side of the receiver, and so if you have a MacBook like I have, and you are not used to controlling the mouse with your left hand, have spare charged batteries.
Having the low battery indicatoron the scroll sounds like a neat idea, but I have yet to see it, the batteries that came with the mouse are still good. And the scrolling wheel is rather comfortable, you might even find yourself scrolling for no reason!
The battery saving feature whichswitches the mouse off (actually switches it off) after 10 mins it a brilliant idea - know that you have to click a button or the scroll wheel to bring it back on.
I think it's a great buy, and don't hesitate to go for it, you wont regret it!!
