I wifi-ed a 3,000 square-foot vacation lodge with this puppy. The many-walled lodge and its parking lot are full of signal. You can surf this baby two roads over while sitting in an RV. That's through lodge walls, large trees and rows of other RVs. Amazing product!

Great looks but poor performance

Purchased this router to replace my old 802.11B. Installing it to the first computer was done in less than 15 minutes. I then started to hook up the second WIRED computer I tried for More than 8 hours and still could not get the router to recognize it. This computer has a wireless connection built in and that was up in no time. My laptop is located about 50 feet from the router I could not get a good enough signal to keep the connection. I had. 1 Bar with this router and 3 Bars with the old B router .Ireturned it the next day and got a D- Link which came with Network Magic software. I HAD THE COMPLETE NETWORK UP IN ABOUT 1 HOUR MOST OF WHICH WAS INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE. BTW the laptop got 5 Bars in the same spot and the D-Link was about 50 Dollars less > > > the N1 Vision Does have those great displays But they don:t have any lights to show activity.

Low performance and lacks many features that other lower cost router have

Looks nice but was really disappointed on how it performed and operated.

-Buttons on front very sluggish and/or dont respond to pressing them.
-Takes a great deal of time to bootup.
-Bandwidth speed was greatly diminished compared to my current wireless'G' router. My current router consistantly gave me appox 15Mbps speed results on both the wired and wireless connection. This particular Belkin router only gave me 8Mbps on both wired and wireless connection. I even upgraded the firmware but no major improvement prevailed from that. I ended up just keeping my wireless G on my network.
-It does lacks parental control features. So if you have children and would like to prevent them from accessing the internet on certain days and/or hours this does nothave that feature.

-I will give it a thumbs up on ease of setting it up. But only through the GUI Web interface the buttons on the front as one stated on an earlier post are useless. The looks and LCD display are the items that persuaded me to purchase it, but the lack of features and perfomance did not warrant the cost of it so I ended up returning this product.
