I bought this for my laptop but then I found that I could use with both my ipod and my zune which is awesome and really versatile.

Instead of buying different speakers for the zune, ipod, laptop, or other devices, this is the best to buy!

Living Room-Filling Sound For Cheap!

I own a Compaq Presario PC I bought in a bundle with an HP monitor, which had 'built-in' speakers--which actually are as quiet as church mice (couldn't hear 'em). So, I bought these speakers to give me sound. What a difference--these things are LOUD!!!!! I've had to turn 'em down more than once, 'cause I easily get two to three times the sound I got before I can hear it from across the living room. You get two desktop speakers and a subwoofer the overall volume is controlled with the module on your desktop and there's a separate level control on the subwoofer for the bass. And there's tons of bass (relatively speaking) I had to adjust it with my ears until I got the right amount for my needs. Setup is easy all the cables are attached and you just plug 'em in. My only quibble: no tone controls (treble, midrange)--but the sound I get has such clarity compared with what I was getting before, who cares? Besides, the price is cheap what do you want for fifty-five bucks (or so)--home theater? No question, it's the best value for the money I've found in a PC speaker system. Highly recommended.

Excellent sound when compared to a similar product. Subwoofer gives much better sound than other comparative products.
Easy to use with the switch and volume control on the cradle.
Cost-Benefit is excellent since I bought this product at a sale price from Circuit City and nothing else compares with this price and quality.
