Just plug it in and it works right off the bat! Excellent value at $59 for 8 GB. The Ready Boost feature works well with Vista and adds extra punch.I just wished the end cap would fit onto drive , thereby making it difficult to lose. However, the drive does fit on a relatively fat key ring holder. I like it!

I love the Attache! This little gem has done everything I have needed and wanted to do on a flash drive. This single device holds:

* The working backup of my bootable Mandriva Flash 8G thumbdrive (the original safely stored)

* My personal files

* A powerful assortment of portable apps - Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird, OpenOffice, GIMP, Inkscape, JkDefrag, Eraser Portable, Stellarium, EditPlus, XYplorer, SnagIt, Mac-On-Stick, Microsoft Flight Simulator 5 and more).

I've even used it to convert my old IBM ThinkPad into a Linux-based local DNS server with a built-in UPS.

I wish everything I bought were this handy. I should buy at least one more before some marketing dweeb 'improves' it.
