4 of 5 Good Value Friday, December 05, 2008 A Customer from Rochester, NY
Had this unit for 2 months now. Other than an occasional start-up problem with it's software, the performance meets my expectations. Using it on an older p4 computer about 50ft from the router, get a consistent good signal. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works with Solaris/Tiny antenna Sunday, October 12, 2008 A Customer from Manassas Park, VA
This was my third attempt to find a card that would allow my OpenSolaris box to connect to my wireless network. Uses the ath driver and works flawlessly.
Only downside to this card is a pitifully small antenna. I swapped it for an external antenna connected by a cable which came with one of the previous (not Solaris compatible) cards and I get a great signal. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great value and performance Monday, October 06, 2008 J from Marietta, GA
Easy to setup. Performance so far has been excellent. Excellent value. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Easy to install + Weak antenna signal Monday, September 01, 2008 A Customer from New Jersey
The Trendnet TEW443PI Desktop PIC wireless card is easy to install and it is fully compatible with Vista. The OS recognizes the card and there is no need to install any drivers. The card works very well. My only complaint is a weak signal. I only get 1 to 2 bars (signal strenght: poor) while I was getting a stronger signal (good to very good) on my old Belkins card. Even with a weak signal this card is faster than the old Belkins. Best of all, I never get disconnected from my home wireless network. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Deal Sunday, August 31, 2008 richard_a from Burien, WA
I bought it for a Dell PC which uses Windows Vista Home Basic. I could not intall it by following instructions on the owner's manual. But it was installed easily after I browsed the contents of the CD and double the setup.exe (or install.exe, don't remember exactly) file. The PC connects to the wireless network very fast and functions without any glitch since I bought it two weeks ago. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Wireless Monday, July 28, 2008 A Customer from Annapolis, MD
I was having trouble adding wireless to a newer dell desktop. I couldn't get a current generation Linksys card to work (crashes, etc). This card worked well with either the Trendware driver or Windows driver. Was this review helpful?

2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Good Hardware, Bad Software. Saturday, March 22, 2008 rgft from Phillipsburg NJ
I have an older desktop that I wanted to get connected to my home network but didn't want to run CAT-5 cable, so this card was just what I was looking for at an affordable price.
My only complaint is TrendNet's software. I just wanted to load a driver, not a control panel, not a wireless account manager, not some other resource-sucking service that puts another cute icon in my tool tray....just a driver that makes the device work. Like so many other vendors, TrendNet has gone the way of bloated drivers that try to give you more than you need without the low-cal option of doing a "driver only" install. It's no wonder a lot of computers out there are running slower than they need to be. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 works ok Friday, May 18, 2007 A Customer from Butler, PA
Put these in my parents computers, and they work well most of the time. Every now and then the utility will crash, and the comp needs to be restarted, but at least there are no ethernet cables snaking around the house. Was this review helpful?

I have had this installed for 2 weeks now, and it works excellent! Signal strength is very strong, even long distances from router. Very easy to install, and overall a great product for not alot of money. Was this review helpful?
2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Quick delivery. Good product. Wednesday, September 20, 2006 A Customer from Charlottesville, Virginia
Didn't know this brand but was pleasantly surprised by combo of price and performance. Easy to install, and very good on-screen data to diagnose performance, etc. Recommend it. Was this review helpful?
3 of 3 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 great product Friday, December 23, 2005 Leslie from Wilmore, KY
was using a USB network adapter from TRENDnet first, and was pretty disappointed. Then I got the PCI card and am still very please with its performance. The PCI card has a higher power intake (a good thing) and almost never loses a signal. The 108MBps is a great feature, but you can't take advantage of it unless your network can handle that speed.
