While shopping for Christmas presents, I bought this one for myself. I'm extremely happy with it. The sound is awesome and it couldn't be any easier to use. I get decent range from the remote control and strong enough volume and bass to fill a party room. I still haven't been able to get the video to work, but I admit that I only just read the directions. I'll play with that feature some more tomorrow. I wasn't even aware that it had the video feature until I saw the svideo cable. For a unit that's smaller and 1/3 the price of the big name brands that are audio only, this is well worth the money. I am fairly new to the iPod world so this is my first iPod and speaker system. I love its portability and the sound is very good. My only complaint (and I'm not sure if this is an iPod issue or the speaker) is that there isn't an automatic volume adjust; in other words, some songs are loud and others are low. I'm not sure that other speakers will make these adjustments either so just an observation. Otherwise, the unit is great and I love the idea of having a remote control. I had a party on my patio over the weekend and it's so easy to move around the sound was great. Was this review helpful?

This is a very nice speaker for iPods or other MP3 players. The sound quality and volume is really good for such a compact device. It has left, right and center speakers and a woofer all in the same box. The appearance of the silver and glossy black unit with a blue light ring around the volume control is very classy. It comes with power supply, every cable you may need and a remote in a well made carrying case. The front, slide-out docking tray fits my IPod Nano 3G perfectly and charges it while plugged in. It also has a USB cable for connection to a PC for downloading to an iPod in its dock. My only minor complaints are: 1) I wish it had more bass, but for it's size and price, it really is quite impressive, and 2) occasionally it doesn't respond to the remote for a short time and then it is fine again. It may just be a weak battery in the remote. I have not changed it. Was this review helpful?
