5 of 5 Kingston 4GB USB Drive Saturday, August 30, 2008 A Customer from Pittsburgh, PA
Great price. Small and handy stick. Laptop recognize the drive right away and starts working with no problems. Buy.com free shipping was OK...not as fast as Newegg. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great form factor, great price Sunday, August 24, 2008 A Customer from Hatboro, PA
I like the fact that this flash drive has no cap to lose and that the connector is not retractable (moving parts are more likely to wear/break). The metal clip swivels to protect the USB connector, although the connector is not tightly sealed and can be exposed to dust/lint when not is use (obvious from the picture but not a concern to me). The metal swivel has two small holes at the rounded end (barely visible in the picture) for a strap/key chain, so I was pleasently surprised to see this feature, although a strap/chain is not included. I have not yet used the Secure Traveler software. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great price! Sunday, August 24, 2008 A Customer from Cumming, GA
I really like this jump drive because it doesn't take forever for the computer to recognize it and it begins working right away (as opposed to other brands that have to install, etc.)! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Worth it for the software alone Tuesday, August 19, 2008 A Customer from Seattle, WA
The flash drive is well made and has performed flawlessly. I really bought it for the security software and that works even better than I expected. Very handy to be able to carry confidential information in such a convenient form. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Handy flashdrive Monday, August 18, 2008 Evan from North Ogden, Utah
In order to install Windows XP on my daughter's Eee PC, I needed someplace to save files that had to be removed. The Kingston 4GB DataTraveler was just what I needed. It had plenty of space for the removed files, transfer was fast, and it worked without a hitch. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great price, great product Monday, August 18, 2008 Nick from Santa Barbara, CA
The flash drive is small, has a cool design, feels sturdy, and has given me no problems thus far. No complaints, a great way to be able to transfer huge amounts of high res photos or even a full length movie! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice! Monday, August 18, 2008 A Customer from Middletown, DE
Works great, but you can't open secure and unsecure data at the same time. If you divide the drive in two parts, each one looks to the system like at 2 gb USB key. I'm not sure that's bad, just a bit confusing. Also, I wish BUY.COM would just sell their 32 GB USB keys for about $20 so I could buy it and quit buying all these little ones. I have 64mb, 256mb, 512, 1gb, 2gb, and now 4gb! They were all such great values!?... Was this review helpful?

1 of 5 DOES NOT WORK Saturday, August 16, 2008 B Davis from RIverside, CA
I have 10 or so of these things by several different manufacturers and this is the first one I have purchased that didn't work . . . period. I plugged it in to my laptop, my desktop computer, and my computer at work. Didn't work on any of them. Now I see that I CANNOT return it. I have spent a bucket of bucks on buy.com. I will rethink that and read the fine print in the future. I definitely will avoid Kingston. Live and learn. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Kingston stands behind their product. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 Jordan, finchpx@yahoo.com from Torrington, CT
i purchased this drive only because of the super low buy.com price ($15.00 i think). a friend of mine needed to use it to move some data around and when he returned it to me, i formatted the drive to clean it out. when i tried to use it myself, the software on the drive had been erased and i only had 381 MB of useable storage on the device!! I e-mailed kingston when i realized that i had formatted and erased the privacy application on the drive. within 5 minutes, a kingston representative sent me a link to download the application again. i followed the link, downloaded the app and was logging in to use the drive in no time. i got my privacy application back as well as the 4 GB of disk space i was expecting. once i use the drive myself to move some data around at work, i felt comfortable reviewing this drive and giving the product 5s across the board. kingston stands by their product and customer support is phenomenal! hope this review helps. the bottom line is if you can get your hands on this drive for less than $20 go for it and dont even think twice. 5 of 5 Kingston 4GB Flash Memory Tuesday, August 12, 2008 Albert from Jonestown, PA
This Flash Memory is great. The software is simple to set-up your security and your level of memory for each section. Limits are that you cannot view both sections of memory at same time. Could use a way to connect strap. Cannot go wrong for the cost. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Value, Great Price, Great Looks Monday, August 11, 2008 Belle from Coral Springs, FL

5 of 5 Nice USB flash drive Saturday, August 09, 2008 John from Colorado
I really like the swivel cap on the drive. I have a tendency to lose the separate caps so I wanted something that was all connected. This is my third try. The first drive (from a different manufacturer) didn't work right (maybe because of the security software on it?). The second type was too thick so I couldn't plug in two USB devices side-by-side. I must be like Goldilocks, because this one was just right. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Can't beat the price or the quality Wednesday, August 06, 2008 Patrick Lay from Crown Point, Indiana
This small, sturdy 4GB flash drive made by Kingston was a steal at a little less than $16.00. I had not seen a $4.00/GB price anywhere before this. For now I use it as the ReadyBoost cache file for my Windows Vista Home Premium system, which meant I had to reformat it. However, if later on I want to use the SecureTraveler software that comes with the drive, I can go the Kingston site and download it, so nothing is lost. My system has 4GB installed RAM, and the ReadyBoost system uses up to an additional 3.7GB from the Kingston drive when necessary. I really like that feature in Vista (which does have a lot of memory 'needs', especially if you don't turn off some of it's features). Overall I'm very pleased with the price, quality and reliability of the drive, and free shipping was icing on the cake. It actually came the day after I ordered it! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 "just in case" because you never know, r Tuesday, August 05, 2008 cmf90066 from Los Angeles, CA
I have an old Verbatim thumb drive with Vsafe 100 to keep the data secure. It has serve me well in the last 2 years or so. However, this new Kingston 4 GB jump drive with SecureTraveler security software is far more superior. It boots up way faster than my old Verbatim. Technology has improved and Kingston has delivered a great product. It back ups my photos, videos and important files. I hide it away from my laptop for the "just in case" because you never know, right? For the price I paid for it, it very good value. Thanks, Buy.com! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great price for that storage size Tuesday, August 05, 2008 TY from Boston
pivoting hinge is the +++, very good price for that size. Writing speed was a lot faster than I expected. Haven't tred the security feature yet but I used the drive to save movies and short videos onto my Eee so no need for that added stuff. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product, great price!! Tuesday, August 05, 2008 A Customer from Indianapolis, IN
4GB of Kingston USB flash memory for less than $20 shipped!! I can't complain a bit!!! I really enjoy the optional security feature that allows me to password protect the information on the drive. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Little Package Tuesday, August 05, 2008 Glenn from San Antonio
I have enjoyed using my new DataTraveler 101. It's not quite as tiny as Kingston's even smaller "Mini" or "Mini Slim" models, but its innovative cover and still very small footprint make it handy, convenient, and easy to carry. I use it with a Mac, and its security system, while not functional on Mac OS X, is also not in the way the way U3 can be sometimes.
Overall, this is a great little device, and a really great value. Was this review helpful?

I have been looking for a reasonably priced 4GB USB memory key with an integrated cap for some time. I couldn't pass this one up. It was a fair price, delivery was right on schedule and it works flawlessly. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Great Design Sunday, August 03, 2008 Norm from San Antonio, Texas
Not as speedy as my Transcend 4GB, but very well built, good size and solid feel. Good looks too. Took 6 Min 55 Sec to copy a 2.26GB file. You do the math. Yes, I'd purchase again. I'd give it 4.5 but no half points here. Was this review helpful?
