5 of 5 Wow! What a great deal! Monday, December 01, 2008
A Customer from Cleveland, Ohio
I actually received the Latitude D610 model instead of the 600 model a week after I purchased it. It is in perfect working condition (so far), and looks new - does not looked used. I am really happy with this purchase!

5 of 5 Completely Satisfied Wednesday, November 26, 2008
Bob from Vauxhall, NJ
I'm a father with a household size of eight, including six school-age children (ages 4 through 17). Having only one computer in our home (Office Laptop), the tug-of-war usually began upon my arrival in the evening hours. The laptop arrived sooner than expected and in excellent (like new) condition. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a D610 model rather than the D600 as advertised. I only needed to purchase Microsoft Home & Student 2007 and Norton Internet Security 2009 to complete our basic needs. My office laptop is a Dell-D810 laptop and the D610 model conveniently inserted into the same monitor stand with D-port docking station. Also, with Windows XP as the operating system, there was no learning curve or unexpected issues in this regard. I truly believe we received the best quality and value for the price. Would recommend this to all who need a portable (Wireless) computer at a great price.

5 of 5 very satisfied customer Tuesday, October 28, 2008
Fred from Denver, Colorado
The laptop I have received is a Latitude D610 and not D600 in perfect shape. it looks like a new one. Further the HDD is bigger than expected and it came with 1 GB Ram instead of 512 MB. The device is functioning perfectly. I’m a very satisfied customer.

5 of 5 good solid laptop Tuesday, September 02, 2008
walterk from Trussville, AL
Probably not a good choice for a gamer but for business, internet, email and programming work its great, light weight, everything works, unit actually came with twice as much memory as was advertised so I didn't get as much value out of the 1 gig chip I ordered since there are only two slots. only failing seems to be that while using the touch pad the unit will apparently auto click things as if you did a left click on a mouse and on the internet it will take you places you don't want to go, off the web it acts as is your trying to cover and past something. its annoying but nothing I can't work around.

4 of 5 DELL Latitude Notebook D600 14.1" Thursday, August 21, 2008
Ruth M from Toledo, OH
The computer was very easy to set up and get used to. The only problem I have had with this product is that the integrated wireless LAN does not work at all. I was able to connect to the internet by a cable, but not through the integrated wireless. I had to purchase an additional wireless card in order to connect. Also, sometimes the computer is a bit moody when it comes to connecting to the internet via the wireless card.

3 of 5 Dell Latitude D600 Thursday, August 14, 2008
A Customer from Redwood City, California
Overall, the computer works well and not bad for the price. I have purchased reconditioned products to find out they are same as new. This is is far from new. Many signs of use. I am a little disappointed that the units look so used.

5 of 5 Great bang for buck Tuesday, August 12, 2008
Russ from Lindon, Utah
Great little lap top. I used this model for two years as my perfessional choice and paid a lot more for it. Bought another for my wife at the current fantastic price of $379. Great unit with a great price. Easily set up and it has the advantages of XP (versus Vista). Love it.

5 of 5 Great Value! Tuesday, August 05, 2008
A Customer from Sugar Land, TX
If you are in the market for a great value & good quality laptop, this may be the one for you. While it is not the top of the line and definitely not the one for you if you want the fastest processor and largest HDD, it is perfect for a mobile solution for business user, with basic computing needs. It is quick and the ability to expand memory to 2GB is a +. Also, the optional port replicator and d/view stand makes it perfect for desk use as well. This would also be a great entry level laptop. Can't beat the quality froma Dell!!!

5 of 5 Great Value Monday, August 04, 2008
Chez from San Diego, CA
I highly recommend these units for anybody looking for a budget laptop. Over the past couple years I've bought 3 for college-bound nephews. Even though they're a few years old, they're still viable and will easily last you a few more years. The Dell D600 is powered by a full Pentium, not a wimpy Celeron. The one I just received from Buy.com looks new, was obviously cubicle-kept, not used by any road warrior. Wireless works flawlessly with the home network. I'm only running WEP for a couple older devices, but the laptop is capable of WPA. And since it's refurbished, it doesn't come with all that crapware. That's worth a lot in itself, isn't it?

5 of 5 Overall a good Purchase Monday, August 04, 2008
A Customer from Royal Oak, MI
My unit came with a carrying case, battery, power supply and an XP reinstallation CD. There were 2 minor scratches on the cover. The screen was perfect. It is wireless capable but no wireless card was included. I bought one on e-bay. I had to search the internet to find labeled pictures of what all the buttons and slots were for. I still can't get the user guide to download and open from the Dell site. The unit was shipped in a timely fashion.

5 of 5 Very Good Service Sunday, August 03, 2008
A Customer from Hedgesville, WV
Computer arrived earlier than expected and with it's own case, which was not part of the order and was not expected. Nice touch and thank you. Will not hesitate to order from Buy.com in the future.

5 of 5 Good Product, Great Price Tuesday, July 29, 2008
janetricco from Painesville Twp., Ohio
Wanted a Dell, found this one and I am very pleased. However, when I went to Dell to get a copy of the service manual to possibly upgrade the memory...I discover that it is not a D600 Latitude, but a D610 Latitude which parts for are less expensive. It is a tough little light weight and came out of the box like a brand new computer, along with an OS
