5 of 5 Cordless mouse Wednesday, October 01, 2008 little_8e from Greenbush, Wisconsin
Works great. Don't have to be changing batteries constantly as it comes with rechargeable batteries. Awesome especially for the price. Was this review helpful?

1 of 5 Mouse generates lag Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Michael Montgomery from Sugar Land, Texas
This mouse is indeed quite a bargain for a rechargeable mouse.
However, it has a fatal flaw which caused us to return it to the store: the mouse sometimes generates lag.
I first bought the mouse for my son, and after a few hours of using it, he told me the mouse made his games lag. I could not think of any way a mouse could do that, so I tried it for awhile.
Perhaps an average of once every 5 minutes, when I pressed the mouse button to click, my computer would freeze for 2 or 3 seconds. When the computer began to respond again, I realized that the mouse click seemed to have gotten lost; my computer system had not received my last mouse click, so I had to click it again.
For routine use, this would be a bit of an annoyance. Some people might be willing to put up with it, but I would rather get a better mouse.
For real time gaming, this mouse is an absolute disaster. Having your game freeze for a few seconds in most games means instant death. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It Works! Monday, June 30, 2008 Jim Duignan from Redwood City, CA
I'm left handed but learned to mouse righthanded. Strange things happen when I use a touchpad. I was looking for a wireless mouse that didn't eat batteries. This seemed unique: rechargeable while in use, compact, and no frills. The Buy.com price was definitely right too. It's only a couple of weeks usage, but no problems. The printed directions could be better. There is a reset on the receiver that is not mentioned. If the mouse and receiver don't communicate out of the box after charging, you may have to reset on the mouse AND the receiver. The website directions are clear though. Was this review helpful?

Product never worked.
Based on my experience and the number of other negative reviews, I strongly recommend against purchasing this item.

4 of 5 Targus Wireless Mouse Monday, June 23, 2008 S.L.N.Murthy from Toluca Lake, California
I got this well packed from Buy.com. It is working fine after an initial charge of 6-7 hours. I found it quiet responsive. I drained out the batteries once to see its performance and found that it becomes sticky. Unfortunately, the low battery light indicator does not come up. This is one thing I could not figure it out. It comfortable to hold and use. I generally keep the battery charging while using on my desk. A good buy as there are no hassels of replacing batteries often. Was this review helpful?

The receiver on the first mouse we received was not working and Buy.com replaced the mouse without any problems. The second mouse worked out of the package without any issues. It has to be charged for eight hours (per manufacturer) before first use. XP immediately recognized it and worked with it with no problem. The mouse speed was somewhat fast so we toned it down through the mouse control panel. No other adjustments needed. Really good the way storage of the receiver in the bottom of the mouse turns it off thereby saving power. Works while being charged off a USB port if the batteries lose power.
The price was slightly higher than other wireless mice but the added features are easily worth it. Just took a vacation with the laptop and mouse. No problems. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Less than perfect Friday, June 06, 2008 A Customer from Spokane, WA
As noted by others, it has a tendency to become unresponsive. Actually, it seems to always track motion, but frequently the clicks do not register.
I did have the batteries drain down (became completely unresponsive) but it never turned on the low battery LED.
For a travel mouse it seems very well suited and is not unreasonably small, even for my large hands. It IS NOT a full-size mouse, of course I had no expectation that it would be. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best value for money Wednesday, June 04, 2008 Makam S Balaji from Syracuse, NY
I bought the mouse a month back and i have been using it regulary. I use it with my laptop for about 5 to 6 hrs a day and i have charged it only thrice so far. its easy to charge and use. The design is great (USB can be stowed back into the mouse, rechargeable batteries, and USB cable), however, the mouse is little bulky. But given the price, its the best mouse i had so far. 2 of 5 so so Tuesday, June 03, 2008 shengcer from Jersey City, NJ
The price of this item posted by buy is indeed cheap. However due to its small size probably designed for travel use, I really feel uncomfortable using it. And it takes really a short period of time after charging it once. Anyway, if you wanna employ it for normal office use, it might not be a good choice. Was this review helpful?

Mouse was easy to install on a Dell Laptop computer with Vista Home Premium. Problem is that the mouse loses its wireless connection frequently. So you need to wait until it finds the connectiion and then it works fine for another 15 minutes. This is a very annoying problem. I would not recommend this mouse for purchase.
