Espresso Frosted Tempered Glass Computer Desk

From the looks of this desk on the website, I liked its very modern and elegant look. Package arrived quickly and safely, nothing damaged. After a 3 hour assembly, I was most impressed with outcome. From a far this table looks attractive and the espresso color accents any room nicely. The color also gives the reinforcing appearance of a desk that has a strong foundation, and it does, this desk is SOLID. I weight 220lbs and feel confident sitting or standing on top of the desk, it does not give, and does not shake. The sublte details of the desk are what really impressed me. You can't see it from the picture, but the frosted glass is trimmed with clear glass to denote edges. All of the glass top sides are also slightly curvilinear, giving it a sleek look, especially where one sits, the glass curves in slightly..nice touch. These curves carry over to the raised printer stand also, but I put my widescreen mointor on there instead and it looks slick, leaving the main desk open with lots of space to write and work. While the dimensions of the desk stated are true, they are for the widest part only, and actually tapers in at the edges thanks to the curves, making it looks slightly smaller than what I expected, but that worked out perfectly. The keyboard tray under the table glides smoothly. I added a espresso pen tray on the side of the keyboard tray and not only is more functional now, but there is still plently of space for my keyboard to be on there, AND be centered on the tray. The magazine tray on the side is helpful in storing papars, magazines, external hard drive, etc. I get lots of compliments on this desk and am far move impressed with it in person that on the website. All in all, if anyone who is looking for a sturdy, modern, functional and attractive desk, this is the one for you.

Well, The packages arrived about three days after the order which I found impressive. As soon as I recieved the packages, I started to put the pieces together. I started at 11:30, and finished at 5:45 so for that reason, i was very unimpressed. The directions are somewhat dificult to understand. I did notice that when I was putting screws in the holes, the espresso finish, that is very thin, peeled off a bit. Therefore, i was nervous to if this was a cheap wood finish. When the wood is in the sun, it is almost a blued finish. This is a very close to black finish, I would categorize espresso more or less as a brown (therefore this isnt really an espresso). Finally when I finished the desk, it looked very appealing to the modern or contemporary style. Overall I do lik the desk and am happy with it. Lets hope it stays good. Hope this review helped!

Seems to be a good solid desk. Not for dancing on though. The black side panels could be a bit more attractive but it definitely beats the tacky generic vinyl coated spit and glue type. I would describe it as inconspicuous that it does not draw the wrong attention to that area.

Overall it's good at this price. Only 1 or 2 screws are hard to fit in.

Definitely a 5 star rating for this product. Easy to assemble, sturdy and very practical. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a sleek look for their computer desk.
