5 of 5 Kingston Rebate Beware Monday, October 06, 2008

Check 12 days after mail-in rebate for Kingston Sodimm memory, Kingston will not valid rebate due to not accepting buy.com packing slip but that was the only proof I have in the box. Kingston said they will mail me a letter stating reason but it's 20 days and no letter. Meanwhile I have ask buy.com for receipts and within 1 day I have receipts. Sounds like Kingston will wait out the months before they will send me the letter and wait out more months when they get the receipts from me. Which they will have my money twice as long. Stay away from Kingston rebates.

i bought this 4gb kit, was easy to install. worked fine. i knew that my laptop being 32 bit will support only 3.25 gb , but i bought this anyway. Was very cheap , checked on other sites as well. people who dre not sure what memory suits there laptop, crucial.com has memory tool , which specifies the memory to use. once u know what ram to buy, check there prices on different sites.
