Received the Crucial memory modules (2 pcs, each 1 GB) a couple weeks ago for my Compaq/HP laptop. The laptop had 512MB, which occupied both memory slots. I removed the cover on the bottom of the laptop, removed both existing modules, popped these in according to the instructions from HP, and started the computer. Booted like normal and everything was back up and running in less than 15 minutes. The computer runs a lot faster! Got a great deal at ~$15 after rebates.

Bought this set about 2 weeks ago, just had to place them in the slots of the old ones, and start the computer, no plugins or anything else necessary. They've been working great so far. Delivery was also really quick!

There is not too much you can say about adding RAM to your PC or Laptop. I have used Crucial products before in other PC's and expanding the RAM on my Laptop was definetely necessary.
