5 of 5 Works with my aluminum iMac 24" Monday, August 25, 2008
Uncle Steve from Sunny San Diego

The memory works well. In case any future troble there is a lifetime warrany, so no reason to worry. This is the right model for the early (before april 2008) iMac's. There is a significant performance gain from going from 2 to 4 GB ram. At this price, it is a cheap way to buy more perofmance!

5 of 5 What could be wrong? Monday, August 18, 2008
Nathan from Lehi, Ut
I'm a simple guy and don't know much more than the basics when it comes to computers. I do know more memory generally means a faster computer and while I don't know much about different brands or whatever, this product works well for me. Now I can actually use my computer when I want to instead of a few minutes later. It makes Vista almost bearable. Long story short. It's memory, it works.

5 of 5 Easy installation, works fine. Wednesday, June 18, 2008
Dad with 3 kids in college from Oceanside, CA
Purchased a new HP DV6700 model laptop (with 2gb memory) for my son in Jan '08. Excellent laptop, but Windows Vista seemed a bit slow. Bought my daughter another new HP DV6700 model laptop (with 3gb memory) in May '08. Although my daughter's processor (Intel T5550) is less powerful than my son's processor (Intel T7500), my daughter's Windows Vista responded more quickly. Installed this Kingston 2gb memory module in my son's laptop to increase total memory from 2gb to 3gb (to equal memory on my daughter's laptop). Installation was very simple and easy: just popped-out one of the two original 1gb modules and popped in the new 2gb module. Took less than 5 minutes for entire switch. New memory works fine. My son's Windows Vista responds much more quickly, and now (with equal memory) his laptop is fasterer overall than his sister's (as one expects from a faster processor).

5 of 5 Dell XPS 1710 upgrade Saturday, June 07, 2008
Stepman from Greenville, SC
When my 1710 was new, 4 gig of ram was over a 1,000 upgrade. Since all components are Vista capable I decided to max the system out incase I decided to upgrade. Approx 85 dollars sure beats over 1,000. Laptop runs great. Was concerned buy negative reviews I read. But think it's mostly people not knowing what they are doing. Have not had a single issue with this ram in a Dell even if it's not listed on the kingston site. Till I'm running a 64 bit OS I know I can only address 3 gig but at this price who cares.

5 of 5 Works fine in MacBook Tuesday, June 03, 2008
A Customer from Fairfield, CT
Used 2 of these to upgrade my MacBook from 1G to 4G. Was pretty straightforward. Found a video on YouTube showing how to do it. Had a brief scare when MacBook wouldn't start up (kept giving three beeps when I tried to power it up, even though everything worked fine initially after adding the memory). Popped the memory cards out and reinserted them and everything has been working fine since. BTW, Apple wanted $400 for the same upgrade!

5 of 5 Working well Monday, April 14, 2008
A Customer from Nashua, NH
I ordered a laptop for Christmas, but the vendor wanted $400 to upgrade the memory from 2GB to 4GB. So I just bought two of these at Buy.com for about $90 for the set. Installing them was a snap (no surprise there) and the memory has worked flawlessly ever since.

1 of 5 NOT REALLY 2GB Tuesday, April 08, 2008
mkhank@gmu.edu from ashburn, VA
i installed 2 of these in my laptop which should have totalled 4gb but in actuallioty the both of them only gave me 3048mb which is a whole gig short. not worth the price if it was 1.5 gig i would have never bought it. buy.com had super speedy shipping but the product itself was subpar

5 of 5 Amazing Price Saturday, April 05, 2008
A Customer from Springfield, MA
I bought two of these from Circuit City for close to $400. Then I came home and my husband told me that i should have checked Buy.com first. I ended up buying two of them from Buy.com for about the same price or less than I paid for one of them at Circuit City. You can bet I returned them to CC quickly! My laptop states that it can take up to 4GB but I guess because of the version of Windows Vista it is running it can only handle 3. So I am not getting the full 4 gigs but my laptop is still running so much better and quicker. I recommend these highly! You can't beat Kingston.

Couldn't have been simpler. I spent more time unscrewing the bottom plate of the laptop than I did installing the memory!

5 of 5 remember ....Memory Saturday, January 12, 2008
Mikie from Astoria New York
This Value RAM is just that---It works flawlessly--there are only 2 chip makers for RAM regardless of brand--It either works or doesn't. It also has a lifetime guarantee--How could any other ..more expensive RAM be superior--It has ALL you could want.

5 of 5 Works good Friday, January 11, 2008
A Customer from NC
It works good and is a great price. I was not crazy about the way it was packaged. There was no paper or filler to keep the memory from sliding around in the package. I would think that a blow do to the memory moving around in the box could damage it.

4 of 5 Easy as 1,2,3 Thursday, January 10, 2008
A Customer from Cali
The 2GB shows in my bios as soon as I installed it. But I wonder why the 512MB memory that's already installed in another slot wouldn't show in the bios. Anyway, I'm satisfied to the speed that it gives to my laptop.

A Customer from Silican Valley, CA
Cant be a better deal for a macbook owner. I upgraded my black macbook(2.2 GHz) 1 GB RAM (default) to 4 GB(2 X 2) with this RAM and it runs blazingly fast. Its cheap and it works. Looks like this stuff is in big demand, the price is going up day by day.

5 of 5 Great Value Monday, January 07, 2008
Bruce from Indiana
I have purchased Kingston memory before, and never have a problem with them. This time I purchased 2 of Kingston's 2GB SODIMM memory for my laptop running Vista, for a total of 4GB. I had 2GB in the laptop previously, and it ran pretty good for most basic stuff and medium draw games. But I want to do some video editing with this laptop, so I wanted the extra horsepower. I read alot of forum's stating that any memory much over 3GB won't be reckonized or used b
