Brilliant design, powerful performance

Panache and performance meet in one stylish experience. Combining a full HD 1080p display, Pixel Plus 3HD engine and fantastic invisible sound, this Flat TV ensures brilliant design and powerful performance for years to come.

Pixel Plus 3 HD for most sharp and clear pictures

  • Pixel Plus 3 HD offers the unique combination of ultimate sharpness, natural detail, vivid colors and smooth natural motion on all qualities of HD, standard TV signals and multimedia content, for high definition displays. Each pixel of the incoming picture is enhanced to better match the surrounding pixels, resulting in a more natural picture. Artifacts and noise in all sources from multimedia to standard TV and also in highly compressed HD are detected and reduced ensuring that the picture is clean and razor sharp.

Full HD LCD display, with a 1920x1080p resolution

  • The Full HD screen has the widescreen resolution of 1920 x 1080p. This is the highest resolution of HD sources for the best possible picture quality. It is fully future proof as it supports 1080p signals from all sources, including the most recent like Blu-ray and advanced HD game consoles. The signal processing is extensively upgraded to support this much higher signal quality and resolution. It produces brilliant flicker-free progressive scan pictures with superb brightness and colors.

5 of 5 Great HDTV LCD for the Price-Great Value Tuesday, November 04, 2008
    A Customer from Rhode Island

Great HDTV LCD for the Price; I couldn't find a better value product for the size I wanted (47"). I have MAINLY complements about the TV. Some of the active controls for the picture quality need to be turned off in order to get the best picture quality, in my opinion. Read CNET review for details. My only complaint is that the sound system is weak (speakers on back of set), but adequate. I bought (10-15-08) the TV Buy.com for $1099 including free shipping.

    5 of 5 Outstanding Performance & Buy.com Delivery! Monday, October 13, 2008
    A Customer from Vineland, NJ
We are blown away by this HDTV! We also have a 50" DLP set which is beautiful but it's only a 720p resolution. When we hooked up this Philips 1080p we couldn't believe the difference! We are on Comcast HD cable and the picture is outstanding! I have no problem with the sound as, apparently, some people do, but after all it's a TV not a surround sound system...duh! Delivery was unbeliveably fast: I ordered it at 10:30 one day and it was here via Fed Ex within 24 hours!! I have seen the same set at different local dealers for $200. more, not delivered and not including sales tax (7% here)

    4 of 5 It's alright LCD TV Monday, June 09, 2008
    A Customer from LV, NV
From an angle the black color is faded and no matter how far back I sit my HD cable still not good enough -- you can see the pixels (hey maybe I'm picky). But when I connected to Xbox and PS3, WOW it's amazing. They can do better with the speakers, they sucks so I just turned them off and use the receiver to get better sounds.
