With Windows Vista, no need to use provided software....Windows will walk through the installation. Worked seamlessly with Microsoft Presenter Mouse 8000. Had great range also! Product does have a flashing blue light that I will probably black out with a permanent marker. Couldn't be happier with the product.

The Kensington USB Bluetooth Micro adapter is perfect in size dongle for all bluetooth needs. You don't have to remove it from a laptop for transport (unlike larger USB dongles which would get bent out of shape). It works with bluetooth headphones, keyboards, mouse, microphone, etc. If you computer doesn't come with Bluetooth built-in, get this tool. It has a little blue flashing light when it is on too.
