5 of 5 Great PSU, wish could turn off LED & LCD Thursday, September 25, 2008
A Customer from New Jersey

The PSU is great and nice looking. Had to bend the cage of Antec P180 slightly with pliers to fit it in but not a big deal. Was pleasantly surprised to see how little wattage my computer is using. The display is hard to see, would have been much better if LCD was attached through a wire and could be mounted on the front panel. Wires are rigid but very nice looking in a clear case. I really wish there was a way to turn off the super bright LED & LCD on the back though. The PC is in my bedroom and the LED doesn't turn off even when the computer is off. I will have to find some way to get rid of that night light, at least it's silent :-)

5 of 5 CRAZY REFUND PROCESS Wednesday, September 24, 2008
ronaldgslater from St. Louis, MO
It appears to be a good product but I have not had it long enough to say anything about it's longevity. The refund process is extremely complicated and they have a bad rep with rebates. Still - it was a good deal even if they don't pay.

5 of 5 At the discounted price this is a steal Thursday, August 21, 2008
A Customer from Washington, PA
Let me preface this by saying that I'm not an electronics expert and that I'm basing my opinion of XG primarily on what others have written. I have built over 50 computers in the last 10 years and I have used a lot of different power supplies. I've even taken apart several power supplies. As far as I can tell, this power supply has a lot more in common with high-end power supplies than the average power supply. There is concern that XG has poor customer support and probably cannot be relied on for warranty service. At this power supply's original price, you're probably better off going with a company like PC power and cooling however, at this discounted price I feel this power supply is a great bargain. Most power supplies are built by a few companies and companies like XG contract with these other companies to build them. This has the feel and components one would expect in a high-quality power supply. As a person who likes to modify computers, I found the LCD display of particular interest. I feel the location in back of the computer where the power supply generally is, is pretty much a waste. So I opened the power supply (voiding the warranty) and by soldering a few wires I was able to move the LCD display to the front of the case where the information on it can be monitored with a glance. If you're not terribly concerned about warranty, I don't think you can go wrong with the Magnum at this price.

5 of 5 Nice PSU and price too Monday, January 14, 2008
Juan from Columbus OH
Overall I am happy with the PSU Magnum. Just a couple things that i would like to mention. 1.- I need it to do a little work in order to make the PSU fit in the new case i bought. It was not a big deal, like some else already stated, just a little dremel work. 2.- The cables, not very easy bendable in order to make a neat work, but the modular approach does help with unnecessary cables. Price, is good (with both rebates though, thaT i already send them). I have not get them just yet, i will keep you posted if i have problems with it. Nice looking PSU, that shows the load in watts and the temp in Celsius (that i can understand). How i said overall a good buy.

2 of 5 Nice prouct, don't count on the rebate Saturday, December 29, 2007
edmed26 from Cary, NC
Thi is a great product, but judge the value without the rebate, XG is notorious for delays and non-payment.

3 of 5 Does it fit your case? Thursday, November 08, 2007
Doon41 from Santa Cruz, CA
A beautiful PS - totally quiet and beautiful to look at. And that's a good thing because you may have to mount it outside your PC case. That's right - it's just a little wider than most power supplies. Mine sits on top and the cables feed through a big hole I drilled in the top! :-)
